@AvaOrchid for your Project X take a look here Hussar Project X RTA Clone (by Coppervape)

There are many great tips throughout the Project X thread. Also videos, suggestions and tutorials that may be of help. Just a thought. :)
I have read over that briefly and it seems like the majority of people have problems regarding dry hits which I have not had I don't see anyone complaining about flavor but that certainly does not mean that no one has said anything about flavor just that it's kind of a long thread and maybe I missed it. I think I'm an outlier in that I just don't get the flavor.. I mean it's not bad flavor it's not completely non-existent but it's what I would expect out of a factory coil not an rta. It could be that I built it for the ProVari so it's a 1.1ohm 2.5mm round kanthal build. Obviously it's also low-wattage because I think the ProVari I have goes up to maybe 15 watts and I'm not getting it even close to that high via the voltage I've set but I usually Vape right around 12 to 15w. I do have my coil like right over the airflow pretty low maybe if I lift it ..though I feel like that's the opposite of what you would usually do for flavor. To be perfectly fair to the Project X I've only put two different builds in it so I haven't really tried. Thank you for pointing me in that direction I'll probably go back and look some more because by no means did I cover the entire thread

@vaper1960, you can at least get something that vapes with no experience with the X.

Tripod (Ulton clone or original) though gives a better experience though when built right, seems it likes 3mm ID coils and kayfunesque style wicking. Get it right and it gives good flavour and a decent throat hit, and also how many RTA's can you tweak like it as well.

And @AvaOrchid, what colour is your ProVari?

As 22mm would be some overhang, but it could maybe be pulled off. Somehow...
I would classify my ProVari as a magical mystical gunmetal color it's like a shiny Gray maybe a shiny black it's a really dark gray I'm not real good with colors lol I don't know what the actual classification name of the color would be

Also I do agree with the statement that you will get something that Vapes with that Project X it's not over difficult once you figure out how to get it apart LOL I'm probably just a bit silly when it comes to that I just for the life of me couldn't get it apart

I would love to hear your opinion on the Project X
You know I thought I should update because yesterday I built it like basically opposite of how I had it built in the first place and I did see a Improvement. Which means I'm probably correct its user error..had to build it a little differently than at least the other three or four RDA and RTA that I've tried. This time I used stainless steel and rayon and I built for around .5 instead of the over 1 that I had built for before. From everything I've read you really don't want to go over 2.5id and I did still use just basic round wire at 26ga. It does seem like the type of deck that could easily last your whole life it's just really well built and there's no Machining errors at all on mine there's even a serial number that's different on each piece I believe

@AvaOrchid the most you'll need with the X is spare tank sections, o rings and the screws that trap the wire.

Also we wanted to know how your getting along with the X after the honeymoon?

Also I have confirmed that the X can fit 3mm ID coils, you just have to use some Jedi skill and force your coiling tool down in the notches. It will fit, honest.

Also soon I will post the correct o ring sizes for the X in the Coppervape Hussar Project X thread, as have you been annoyed by trying to remove and replace the top cap?

I actually put it aside for now because I got a new toy that I'm shocked how much I like. Like it's a sub tank and I like it and that's something that I didn't think I would be saying... I won the Halloween Innokin contest and I got an mvp5 ajax kit and there's something about the coil in it that actually provides flavor relatively close to the rta's at least when I use it in temperature mode even though of course I'm not 100% sold that it's accurate temperature control but it's working very nicely. I figured I would use it exclusively until the battery gets low to see how much battery life I get out of it I got it the day before yesterday and it's at little bit less than half so I might have a mod that lasts 3 days on an internal battery ... how this is turning into an Innokin ad I don't know... but it's pretty impressive and if anyone's in the market for one at least so far I can say I would highly recommend it. I might try putting the X on it.. didn't even think of that. I did already purchase an extra tank for the Project X because I tend to use lemonade flavor e-juice adv and the last thing I want is to crack the tank of my newest RTA and not be able to use it until I wait for that slow boat. But regardless of my past experiences with my X I do appreciate its quality and I think next time I'll try putting the 3id in there just for giggles LOL I would still purchase O-rings for it to so I really appreciate you getting all the spare part Dimensions down for everyone that's really cool.

@AvaOrchid, of course you've got to see how the shiny shiny things look and work together.

Vaporesso CCell coils are also nice as well, great flavour with a decent amount of vapour. But coils are so variable in quality, it's hard to find a good one.

I use the GT core CCell 0.5 ohm coils in a Skrr-S tank (8ml) as a fallback, will last all day on a Samsung 30T.

I'm still considering getting more Ulton clones though at the moment, here's a list.

Voltrove V2
Typhoon GTR
Typhoon GT4
Juggerknot
Juggerknot Mini
Typhoon BTD wave style

As you can see, I'm eclectic.

And I can definitely recommend those Ulton Tripod clones, really nice flavour from them with a decent amount of vapour.

Coiling is really easy, wicking is a little bit tricky to get right though. But when you do get it right it does reward you.
