Recommended RBA's

So, I was given $100 for Christmas

Aside from getting some more 510 cartos for my 2 tanks & juice I think I want to get my first rebuildable that's around $60 or less

I'm not a 'dripper' so I'd like to try something with a tank but Im open to a revolution for example.

Let me know what you would recommend and why! Hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks,
JRod

AGA-T i have seen nothing but good reviews on it and its said to be easy to work on, wont know how it compares to what i own as im waiting on the shipment. i own a DiD and a DiD clone(trivecca). these are comparable minus the $100 price tag difference. one thing i have learned is higher/lower priced models when it comes to RBA's are only as good as the builder not the material they are made from. starting with a lower priced model will allow you to try it out without blowing much on it. you can find them for around $20+, as not everyone will like RBA's.

either way you look at it a budget of $60, will get you a RBA tank style and some good wire. i like 32 gauge others like thinner or thicker, so you can grab a few different sizes, as well as some stainless steel mesh or silica.

I've got an AGA-T and love it....

That said, there is supposed to be a new revision coming in January that will relieve some issues.
I would wait for the new one.

I got mine from steam monkey down in Ft Worth.
Lance is supposed to get the new ones when they come out.

It is also possible OKC Vapes will get em too.

I gotta new Vamo for Christmas and am noticing how much better my AGA-T tastes than a Vivi Nova.
I need to re-coil my AGA since it is currently @ 1.1 ohms. (.1 ohm below the resistance limit of the Vamo.) :(

AGA-T V2 is coming out in January, it's supposed to have a stainless steel centre post (as opposed to a plated one) and not have any knurling on it as well as a better top cap I think, the current aga is ~$25 so the V2 will probably be around that I'd wait

or troll the classies for a higher end one on the cheap

All of you read my mind! I was thinking of the AGA-T and that's what you all recommended so that definitely answered my question. The other ones I had been looking at were the eternity (which was annoying to rebuild, or so I heard), Revolution, Fatty by Chris Creations, The A7, The Bulldog, SmokTech Hyper SRT and well then you have those really expensive ones like iHybrid and Z-atty Pro tanks.

I'll definitely wait for January since its right around the corner.

I'm from Miami, FL but go to school in Oklahoma City and was planning on going to OKC Vapes, since they have a good variety of mods, right before I went home for New Years but I might just wait on it till the revised version comes out.

I have a couple AGA-Ts, a couple AGA-Hydras, some DiD clones, and a Chobra. They all work great. It's all in the build. AGA-Ts are nice, except they are .... ugly, especially on a Provari, plus, they are heavy. On my Provaris, I use the DiD clones, which I've converted to clear tubes. The Chobra looks nice on a Vamo.

the lenght of wire will determine the ohm's. i dont remember the exact break down on lenght to ohm comparison, but the good thing is you can play around with it till its to your liking. what i simply do is cut a piece and make a few wraps to my liking then trim down any excess wire, usually putting me between 1.5 and 2.2 ohm's
