noone is sure really but many like me feel its not worth the risk of possibly vaping copper residue. as well as the high amount of chromium used to plate said copper.

I'm not educated on the copper issue. What is the problem with copper? Water lines are made of copper, tea kettles, copper pots and pans...ect...

I would think the Kanthal wire would be much more concern. It contains aluminum. Aluminum toxicity has been linked to many conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, kidney and liver problems, memory loss, and osteoporosis.

Nichrome wire also contains chromium. Is chromium a problem?

I guess I just can't wrap my head around tank material being more of a hazard than the metal that gets very hot. In my mind the heated metals would have more of a chance contaminating the vape.

Anyone who knows anything please chime in.

please no......... just no.. there is so much panic over all this stuff already, dig around on ecf you will find many scare threads already. people worried about copper in their pluid, yet the 4000+ chemicals in tobacco, many of them heavy metals didnt seem to concern anyone while they shove artificial sweeteners and flavoring down their throat with an over processed burger from micky d and some artificially flavors Hershey chocolate for dessert.

I'm not really worried about it. When I read your post I wondered if something new surfaced. Not worried about metals at all.

The only thing that has caused me any problems is (most) of the flavorings. They make me cough. I mostly stick to non flavored PG/VG nic and have zero cough problems.

I would not fear a chromed copper tank or dripper.

I can rest assured anything I do vaping is a million times better than being a slave to BT. BT was caught adding things that actually inflamed the lungs to make them absorb nicotine faster. God only knows what all they have added to them over time. I'm simply happy to be free of them.
