Hello, I recently switched to using the new Dual vertical coil Carto/tank... it comes in at 1.5 ohms... With my 808 batt this puts me at around 10 watts... If I am using my 5 volt pt I am way up into 15 watts....

So my question is do you have listed somewhere the recommended wattage for your juices.... or the point they will burn?

Hi Whistles,

First off, you never want to use a LR atty with a 5v device. 15 watts is entirely too much and your juices will taste burnt. LR (particularly 1.5ohm) atties work best and are really designed for 3.7v devices. Your 5v device would probably blow that atty out pretty quickly and that would just be a waste. Most people say the "sweet spot" is between 8 and 10 watts. A 5v device using a standard 2.5ohm atty should put you at 10 watts. A LR atty on a 3.7v will give you 9 watts. Either of these choices is good depending on your preference, and I wouldn't recommend using anything higher on Ms T's juices. You MIGHT be able to get away with 11 or 12 watts max, but some of our darker juices in particular will start to taste burnt at that power.

Edit: We do have it noted on the website somewhere that using devices over 5v is not recommended.
