The most important thing about wattage mode is that watts measure the amount of energy being released by definition. So, if you have devices which are about as efficient at converting liquid to vapor you can switch between them without changing the wattage. So if you have two ProTanks with 1.8 and 2.2 ohm coils, you can just plug and play. Likewise if you have two of the same rba's with different resistances. With voltage adjustment, you also have to take into account the resistances of each device and adjust for it. So, if you use one ProTank with same coil, no real advantage. If you constantly swap juices with different resistances, big advantage.

I am so disappointed with this Vamo. It has no consistency whatsoever.

I intend to use it only as a backup to the point where nothing else would work or I might just send it back when I get my provari. Also, what is the deal with these 18350 batteries. I get about 2 hours of vaping with this battery. It reads 4.2 volts right out of the charger. One hour later its reading 3.7 and then 3.4 and then out.

I hear all these people saying that it last about 8 hours. I do vape continuously, but still.

I tried it on a dual-coil 1.5 carto at 4 volts. How is this possible?

Are you using a single 18350 or stacking them ( 2 in series)? If you are using just 1 with a dual coil then 2-4 hrs ( depending on lite to heavy vaping) is about right.
I use 3400mAh Efest 18650's and get about 10-12 hrs with 1.6ohms at 8-10W if I stack 2 of those, I get about 24 hrs of use before needing to recharge.

@dracu, did you go through the setup on your new Vamo? "no consistency whatsoever." sounds like you may be in NO1/Avg/Mean rather than NO2/RMS (Preferred setting).

Vamo V2 - 'NO2' should be displayed after approximately 10 seconds of holding the left (-) button down
Vamo V3 and subsequent - 'Output RMS' should be displayed after approximately 10 seconds of holding the left (-) button down. NOTE: Depending on the firmware version installed on your Vamo V3 you may not have the option of change the output.

On the battery issue, I agree 2-4 hours is not unusual for a heavily used 18350, 10-20 with a good 18650. Never liked stacking 18350's.

Hope this helps
