I asked the same question not long ago and got some interesting suggestions.

And good luck on the finals jmpublius. I'm avoiding studying for mine today as well. One is tonight and one tomorrow, so I suppose studying at this point might be moot. My brain is full...whether it's full of the appropriate materials or not is another matter entirely. :)

Thanks, I'm too lazy to search.:glare:

Good luck on yours as well. Never too late to study.

Actually, if you remove the batting from inside, the rest of the material is recyclable. Just put them in with the metal stuff. I wait until I have quite a few, then sit outside on a nice day, with my favorite drink and vape, and pull all the batting out, put the plastic mouthpieces in one pile, the rest of the carts in another. Been doing that for over a year, no problem. Hope this helps.

I asked this somewhere and too darn tired to find it, but you take the batting out, and toss that, it degrades, and the metal can be recycled, since it is metal. I was told by an environment freak like me that you can recycle the metal. I toss the batts in a bag and take it to a recycling center.

Hmmm, I just have all my dead stuff stored away, and maybe when I get a several hundres pounds I'll take it to a salvage place and cash in. Yeah, I'm a miser!

When I brought this up originally, my hubby said to just toss them into a 5 gallon bucket and then he'd take them to the salvage center whenever he goes for work. He doesn't quite get that having a five-gallon bucket in my office isn't quite the decor that I'm going for in our home. Eclectic is nice, but I just don't think I can live with five-gallon buckets cluttering up the place. :)

This topic needs to stick around for others. Yes, keep your cartomizers if they are metal. Save them up in a box, and when you get alot of them, take them to your local metal recycling place. They take them, even if you don't get money for them, at least you are helping out with the reduction of waste. This is a very important topic. The juice left in it does not matter because they melt the metal anyway, so all the juice will disappear.

Here different centers only accept certain things and batteries need to be dropped at certain collection points .( same for old lightbulbs of any type .I had a different solution for cell phones ,tmobile took them shiipping paid to be donated to charity, and the people who needed them in military service .
I also had a co worker who got in touch with an organization that takes them and gives them to women in crisis .I am sure they have these in every state .
I live in a state that "green " is shoved down my throat to the point of losing it so im not commenting on the rest .
