I ordered the red Dragon today, Starter kit with marlboro carts they called me tonight to tell me that the marlboro was backordered and it would take a week to get them in if I would like to wait they would put on hold but if I wanted to try the regular flavour they would send me my order plus a extra pack and if didnt like them I can send them back for something else. Plus they would be sending me a coupon. If the whole transaction is like this first impression, I believe I have found a winner of a retailer.

Well I dealt with both companies yesteray and decided that bloog was by far better with the customer service.

I emailed Red Dragon and didn't get a response on my questions for 4 hours.

On the bloog site the have an online chat rep that anwers questions right then and there.

Also, as I noted on the bloog thread, I didn't realize that the bloog kit came with non nictotine carts until 6pm central time last night, when I called their number they were closed, when I went to the online chat a rep was still working and added nicotine carts to my order at no addtional cost, talk about customer server.

Also something to remember, even though you bought a red dragon, you can order the bloog carts, that's what bloog told me yesterday. Their carts are cheaper (2.00 per pack if you buy in bulk)

Well, Bloog definitely received high marks for customer service based on what your experience. But I would say that 4 hours to respond to an email is not exactly lax service...

quick update...

I got my e-cig.com new mini e-cig in and while they perform the same as the red dragon, the batteries that came with it don't last nearly as long as the replacement red dragon battery. So far it seems like the latest red dragon battery batch is pretty good. I can't accurately comment on charge times though since as soon as vapor decreases, I immediately charge the batteries and I have three in rotation right now (1 red dragon and 2 e-cig.com) I estimate it's only about a 1-2 hour charge to the green light once I notice a harder draw or decreased vapor since I don't run them dead.

I recieved My red dragon this morning both batteries we fully charged and ready to rock.
First off this thing really puts out alot of vapor and I do mean ALOT!
It puts out a consistant amout of vapor until batt is dead (flashing).
I got the regular carts with medium nicotine and they are to light for me (full disclosure I smoke marlboros for 20 years) the batteries last approx 3-4 hours and took 1 hour to charge. I have NOT smoked a single "real" cirgarette since I opened the package so I am getting from it what I wanted. I stopped by my brothers house on the way home and took some of his juice (camel Hight Nic) and dripped into the one cart I have been smoking all day and I think I can live with the medium carts and keep juicing them up until I run out and order some stronger ones.

all and all it seems to be a quality product and I would recomend It.
this is my first e-cig, although I smoked my Bros janty mini and 401 and I like its vapor better then both of them, HOWEVER I do like the throat hit I get from the 401, I think I might be able to get the hit if i try some differnt juice and nic combo's too get that nice heavy back of the throat hit I crave.

so I am smoke free for almost 12 hours :D

Hello,
I received my Red Dragon yesterday, and I like it quite a bit. My first e-cig so I can not compare to others but so far here is my info:
Takes about an hour to recharge the battery. I can puff on one all day w/o the battery going dead. I have been using the same cartridge for two days now, so not sure how long that will last. I got med nicotine and the regular tobacco flavor, plus a med nic and a vanilla flavor. Like them both. Lots of vapor. Not much throat hit unless I do a double puff.
Slightly bigger than a regular cigarette, but otherwise looks very much like one. Feels like one in my mouth. A bit heavy to hang from my lips, but not impossible.
Customer service was very good. The product seems well made and durable.

Haven't read the rest of the posts, but I had to add my 2 cents in on this subject.

Ordered a loongtotem from loongtotem.com, but was taking forever to arrive (comes from China ya know), but I had ordered some carts from Red Dragon and they arrived very quickly. So now I had carts and no ecig... getting antsy, I decided to just order a battery and charger from somewhere else. Ended up getting my battery from bloogplanet.com (they gave me a sweet deal because some carts I ordered from there were backordered + I was able to stack leafords 30% off coupon!) And I ordered the usb charger from Red Dragon (already had the carts).

Anyway, to make a long story short.... my first toke was horrendous! Awful, Awful taste. And to top it off, no throat hit. How could this be? This is Leafords favorite ecig! I kept at it, but the awful taste remains. I've tried filling the cart with strong menthol liquid, but that doesn't work either. I have pretty much shelved this ecig and chocked it up as a learning experience. I do hope other carts don't taste this bad, but I am not willing to drop the coin to find out.

Good news, I did figure out how to get a throat hit. You need to take very, very light drags. You will feel the vapor getting very warm and then you inhale. This system works half of the time and is hard to get accustomed too. This and the awful taste make this one ecig to avoid.

I made another cool discovery however. If you peel the sticker off the atomizer/cart it is a beautiful silver metal. :) Looks great with my black battery, so at least it has good looks to make up for all the disappointments.

L8r, x

BTW, still haven't received my carts from bloogplanet.com nor my loongtotem from loongtotem.com (been almost a month and counting now) :( .

I am curious as to which cartridges you ordered from Red Baron that you found so horrible. Cause my roommate tried the Marlboro, and I tried Regular and Vanilla, and I have had a dozen of my smoking friends taste them, and no one thought they were horrible. Even a couple of my NON smoking friends took a puff and said it tasted not bad at all. Wonder if you got a bad batch or something. Maybe you can contact where you got the carts and ask to send yours back and get a diff batch.
Hate to see you give up on the ecig itself, as it seems to be a good one.

I agree. I received four high menthol carts with my 8-piece kit, and one bonus, high cherry. I LOVED the cherry. Great throat hit and awesome vapor production (as is typical from V9-type carts). The menthol tastes just like regular, so I think they might have mis-marked the box, but still, they're also very good. Nice hit and great vapor.

I ordered some more cherry and some vanilla last week.

I'm VERY happy with Red Dragon. Products and service are excellent. Good communication, Very friendly. I had a special request for them (I need them to ship my orders regular mail to my PO box instead of Fed Ex to my address.) they were happy to do that for me.

Right now, Red Dragon is my only supplier. i had a not-so-good experience with GreenSmoke, and I've completely switched now.

ive gotta say the same thing; barely any throat hit, even though theres a good amount of vapor production. after about a week and a half of using it and refilling it with different liquids, the results were the same. i wished it worked better since this small little sucker could hold a decent amount of liquid (red dragon said .8ml) and produces good vapor.

Like with most things I have tried in life, there is a learning curve involved with all of the e-cigs I have tried. As far as the disposable atomizer brands are concerned, I found through advise and practice that I can enjoy the terrific vapor of this system and get a GREAT throat hit if I simply drip two to three drops of juice (no more than that) directly through the hole in the cart mouthpiece. Then, just relax and puff. I love it!!!!;)

I have a co-worker who uses the Red Dragon with minimal results.I have suggested getting some juice and try dripping......but they don't want the "bother".I think that individual might be going back to analogs soon....I wish I could convince them to try.......or at least try another e-cigg(901 works great for me)....It's really too bad!:(The Wiz!

Unfortunately, I haven't had good success with red dragon. Although their customer service is great and they give out ridiculous amounts of vapor, I've just had my second battery (a replacement) go bad on me. Although it's still under warranty, I'm thinking about just ripping it apart for a flashlight mod or something. My new mini e-cig batteries from e-cig.com are still going great though.
