Hey all,

Man I am getting hungry just thinking about the meet/bbq/picnic etc. :) Do you think we should start a new thread with the meet up as the heading, "Panhandle vape Meet, April 20th" just to draw more attention to it and classwife can make a sticky out of it or no? Just thought I would see what you guys thought.

I think we will have a few new folks I am thinking from the fliers at the shops etc. Should be alot of fun. :) I have been talking it up quite abit also so we will have to see.

My dream car would be an ancient station wagon.. late 60s - early 70s land yacht.. the quintessential MOM car.. who's old enough to remember the 10 passenger wagons with the little jump seats in the *way back*?
My parents went through a couple Dodge wagons like that when I was a kid.

Dad was in the Air Force and we made a number of cross country trips in those cars. I enjoyed the rearward facing seat. But, it made my sister car sick. Funny thing is, those cars would be considered muscle cars today. I remember learning to drive in one of them. Touch the gas peddle lightly or squawk the tires, heh.

I learned to drive in one too! Dad took me out in the school parking lot and taught me how to do doughnuts (upstate NY in the winter) great fun!
I don't do snow anymore.

I don't do snow anymore either Opal. I am originally from South Dakota and most of our family is still there. Put up with the stuff till I left for the military. I hated shoveling and driving in it, and all the cold weather. We love to rub it in when they are having really bad weather. :) LOL Only thing I do miss is some of the winter activities, snowmobiles, ice fishing, etc.

I can remember one old station wagon we used to have when I was little. Mostly when I was growing up my parents got into the big boat Land cruisers, Chrysler, Cadillac's and stuff for awhile.

Well talk to everyone later, have a good day all.

Yeah some of VT's prices are a bit high and on other stuff they are either right on or even on the low side.

HandbananA you dragging Dallas to the meet with ya? Just for headcount reasons.

The Wife is making up some 7 layer dip and bringing some chips.
Yep I'm picking Dallas up and I'm bringing my wife along as well.

Ok figured we should jump back in the chat thread since the meet is over. So we will have to start thinking of ideas for the next one? I wonder if any of the bowling alleys anywhere would be open to letting us bowl and do a meet up? Does that sound like fun to anyone else besides me? Just an idea, but thought it would be kinda fun.... Not sure how some of you feel about bowling tho, but might be a good time. :)

What do you guys think?????

I have not been bowling in years.. sounds like it would be a scream. I need kiddie bowling bumpers in the gutters please... or a non standard size ball.

I'm trying to remember the last time I went bowling.. I think it was around the time my daughter turned 16 - she's 28 now.. picturing midnight/blacklight bowling with rocky horror on the big screen.. must have been around halloween.

Might anyone know of a pool hall? Either coin or by the hour tables work for me. I'm horrible at pool and it's been forever since I picked up a stick but I reeeeeeeeeally get my enjoyment out of a quarter.
There was one called strokers where I used to live that had some nifty *matinee* specials years ago.
I'd suggest bingo too - most accept smokers so vapers would be cool I imagine but we'd have to be quiet.. maybe not such a great idea.
