Question to all:

I started vaping last week on 12mg, before that I was on a Metro e-cig that stated 1.8% (I assume 18mg) for about 5 days. The 12mg was doing good, but at times I felt a little too much nic. Yesterday I received my first 6mg batch and I am not sure how I feel about the reduction yet. I feel different today, definitely feel like a craving. My goal is to reduce my nic as low as possible, but I am thinking I did this too soon? I am not craving a stinkie, but I feel like I need to be glued to my PV. At work, this is not so possible (although I do vape discreetly at my desk whenever no one is looking;) )

Considering options:

1. Stick with it and let my body adjust to the lower nic.

2. Find a way to up the nic level in all the juice I have coming, which is all 6mg and about 70ml worth

Thoughts?

It is possible to step down. Some can do it in great leaps like you've tried. I have found I have to do it in very small steps.

I started above 36mg/ml and right now am holding at 20mg/ml. I did it with 2mg/ml steps. Why 2mg/ml steps? Well, since I mix my own juice I could, and I noticed that even that small of a drop increased my juice consumption. When my consumption returned to the usual, I would drop it again.

Now, I understand that you do not mix your own, but there are ways to do the same thing with premixed juice. You said something to the effect that 12mg/ml is a bit high and 6mg/ml is too low. If you were to mix equal amounts, having the same flavor is a huge help here, in another bottle you would end up with 9mg/ml.

Math example for future use starting with the example I provided:
12mg/ml * 5ml=60mg 6mg/ml*5ml=30mg (Equal amounts of both nicotine concentrations, 5ml) Total nicotine / total volume=(60mg+30mg)/(5ml+5ml)=9mg/ml.

Maybe next time you want to drop it just a bit more, but not too much
12mg/ml*3ml=36mg 6mg/ml*7ml=42mg You would have (36mg+42mg)/(3ml+7ml)=7.8mg/ml Call it 8mg/ml since it is close enough for this example.

That's my suggestion. Just try smaller steps.

I am currently at 12 MG and stepped down in slightly larger steps (6mg at a time). The key is to allow your body a chance to adjust to the new level before you drop again. If you try too much too soon you risk regressing. Take your time, its not a race to zero :)
