I sent JC a note asking what was used to replace the PG in the reduced PG formulas because it didn't seem clear to me from their site. The response:

"Vegetable Glycerine. Also, in case you need the information, our ingredient list is posted on our website under the FAQ and it's also listed on the side of each 15mL and 30mL bottle. Hope this helps!"

Am very upset by "new" stuff, bad enough they don't use "real" tobacco essence anymore, makes Tennesses Cured awful, my opinion, but they use "reduced" VG as well. Slams me pretty good on both issues, PG is a BIG no-no for me. So I'm trying to find a really GOOD tobacco (mild) flavor, hate to buy imports though.
Hate to change what was a good thing, now not good.

After vaping on the TC for a while you notice it gets sweeter and sweeter, and just about the time you think this is getting pretty nasty, you feel nauseous. I think its how sickeningly sweet it becomes.
Don't even try the Espresso. Just... No. LOL
Nasty stuff to my taste buds

I love the Espresso.....but mine is the PG.....so maybe that is why. I added a few drops of the French Vanilla and it was very good too. So far, I am happy with all the new flavors I've tried from JC. I preferred the Peach Cobbler to Summer Peach though.

Has anybody tried the Chocolate Truffle? It is very good....in my opinion....

Wow, its taken me longer than I ever expected to get my JC juice in but I can finally give my you all my first thoughts on the flavors I ordered. I ordered the Reduced PG in both Chocolate Truffles & French Vanilla.

I was a big fan of their Choc. Almond Decadence and I wanted to see how this compares. The Choc Truffle taste like an unsweetened deep dark chocolate to me. At first I wasn't sure if I liked it or not, but after vaping on it for about 4 hours now I've come to like it, even though I think it could stand some sweetener. For anyone wanting a deep choc taste, minus the sweet, you might enjoy this flavor. :thumb:

Now on to the French Vanilla... ugh I'm not liking it all. To me it smells and taste like vanilla extract. I was a fan of their Vanilla Ice Cream flavor they had because I love vanilla but this extract flavoring or whatever they use makes this one not so good to me. I may end up mixing it into some other flavor but I won't be vaping on this by itself. :nah:

I understand why JC changed their formula's but I really wish they hadn't. All I have left of my beloved Choc Almond Decadence is the smell that remains in the bottle..so sad. :(

Sun - the removal of tobacco extract/essence from all their juices is confirmed? If so, is there a thread or link on this? I'm sure they think they're avoiding problems before they start (FDA etc), but..meh.. :(

Look at their ingrediant list--it is gone and I would have to think that it do with wanting their testing to be clean of any tobacco by products for the FDA.

I too am mourning the loss of Choc. Almond :( I'm waiting on the Choc. Truffle to try so I'm glad to hear a word from someone who's tried it!!

I even went and got some almond flavor drops to try adding to choc truffle if I still miss the almond tase :)

I tried adding some almond flavored juice I had to my choc truffle, and while its good its not the same, no real almond taste. Let me know how the flavor drops work out for you and what brand you used? Thanks

So it's been a little while since I used the JC juices (18mg reduced pg, device: VX2/J118).
I never finished tasting the sample pack so I thought I would give it another try.

TC - I stayed away from it because it's way too sweet for me and I felt a little sick after awhile the first time around. I'll try it again.... whenever LOL

I tried the Peach and Strawberry again and they are quite tasty for a short while. Though I am not very fond of sweet/fruity flavors. I actually really enjoyed the Peach. I am feeling a little sad that I missed out on the original flavor everyone raved over.

Expresso - hated it the first time around so this time I filled a cart and dripped in some Choc. Truffle. That was pretty tasty to me that way. I'll try mixing with the French Vanilla and Mint Choc. too.

BlackCherry - Still didn't care for it but think it would be good mixing with Choc. Truffle or French Vanilla.

Not too thrilled with the:
Choc. Truffle - too milk chocolate-y but I prefer dark chocolate, nice mixer tho.
Mint Choc. - where's the mint?, again nice mixer tho.
French Vanilla - just kind of boring by itself, will be using it as a mixer
For how strong JC's other flavors are, these 3 are kind of weak.

Artic Mentol - Not a fan of menthol at all so can't really do it justice. If you like menthol it maybe fine. I'll use it to "mint-up" the Mint Chocolate but after that...

Upon revisiting the JC Original - I find I really like it. Vaped it all day yesterday and continued with it today. Very nice throat hit and vapor too as all the flavors had.

Hope that helped anyone debating on trying them. The sample pack was worth it and I'll probably end up ordering some more Original and Peach at some point.

I suggest you don't rush through the sampler as they all tend to tast vanilla-ishy and you can pick out the flavors better without over lapping each one. Of course, "your mileage may vary" :)

I used to vape the original VG Tennessee Cured Zero Nic all night. I loved the throat hit and the fact that I could go to sleep after doing an all-you-can-vape buffet.

Unfortunately, I'm not a huge fan of the new reduced PG "whatever they did" formula.

I get NO THROAT HIT! I used to get it big time on the original VG Zero nic but this Reduced PG Tennessee Cured Zero Nic has no throat hit.

Oh bother.

After reading all of this, I think when my sampler order comes, I will just mail it right back without even trying it.
It sounds like a complete waste of my time.

I never tried the old formula, and received the sampler pack a few days ago. I had previously been vaping some flavors from East Mall happily, but really enjoyed some (not all) of the JC flavors. I LOVE the original, the summer peach, and the minty chocolate. The menthol is nice and minty as well. Didn't care much for the flue cured 9still don't really know what it tastes like - rather generic) or the cappachino - the other flavors are OK for a change of pace for me.

I'd suggest keeping the sampler - maybe the juide was better before, I don't dispute anybody's experiences or comments, but I was very happy with it - and also appreciate the stockpile of small glass droppoer bottles that I will re-use.

I have found that everyone's opinion on this forum is very subjective. I do read all of the comments and then decided if I still want to try a product. I saw many different opinions on Johnson Creek and still decided to buy a sampler. When it arrived I vaped away testing everthing. Then I have been trying them a little at a time. This has helped me decided if I liked or disliked a sample. I do like some of the reduced PG flavors but I do like Vanilla also. It was a great way to try favors. I have purchased the Tennessee Cured and the French Vanilla as my everyday vapes.

This is just my opinion on my experience. I would keep the sampler and try it for your self. If you don't like it you are only out $22.00. If you keep it you have a bunch of little bottles that you can mix in latter...

Just my $.02
