I've been mointoring the Reo site every other day or so waiting for the reducer tube to be back in stock. It hasn't been since I got my Reo. This looks like something I ought to be able to source locally or at least online from a plastics dealer of some kind. Like get a 20 ft length of and cut it myself. I'd pay Reo the 25 cents they want and probably order 30 of them but they are never in stock.

Anyhow, anyone know how i'd go about getting some tubing other than the Reo site?

Does Lowe's or Home Depot have it?

Not sure of the diameter but looks close to hard air line tubes for fish tanks. I couldn't tell from any of the video's I've watched, might be come clear when my Grand gets here. What are the reducer tubes for, when would I need one?

The reducer tube is inserted in the bottom of the tubing that goes into the bottle. It reduces the flow of juice. Used mainly for high PG juices or if your REO is self-feeding because of heat or altitude.

Do not insert it all the way in!

Been wondering if any Reonaut actually use them? Maybe in the era before RM?

I have never used one. Only use 100% VG juice so my juice is pretty thick.

When I went to Florida my REO was self-feeding with a atomizer. That is when a reducer tube would have come in handy.

I think that even with a RM2 if the weather is very hot and you leave your REO in the car when out it might self-feed. I did notice that a few times this summer. But it was not enough to leak. I just vaped through it and it was fine.

The reducer tube is a good thing to keep around, just in case the need is there.

I didn't get one with my Grand, not that I need one here in Blighty although I will be in India for a month Jan/Feb next year.

Thanks for the information as to what it is for, I had seen them on the site but hadn't got a clue.

They are really tiny. About 1/4 to 1/2 inch long. Frequently they hide in the seams of the baggie. I have also found them in the spare cap or dripper tip of a bottle.
