That means it's time to wash 'em.

Ya know I never did a reverse Taryn spin before refilling until tonight. Wow, what a difference. I actually used some wadded up stuff at the bottom of the condom to absorb the liquid that didn't empty into the cap, noticed some dark nasty juice come out. The taste is much better after doing this and getting out the old liquid improved the draw. Absolutely becoming a mandatory part of my refill process from now on

Yea I tend to toss em instead because i really prefer fresh pre-filled ones. I like being able to refill, especially the ones i vape way too much to keep buying new, but i still see them as disposable, enough not to have the desire to do a wash. maybe ill start this time around though since my contract just ended at work and I wouldn't mind saving those extra few $'s.

I don't know if I'd go that far... Ok - I'm certain I wouldn't go that far.

Ramming the needle into an artery and dumping a ml or two would certainly be dangerous. A nick that gets a drop or two in a cut? Probably very dangerous if you weigh ten pounds and don't have a heart beat... Of course, since you're dead anyway, "dangerous" is something of a sliding scale.

I think the best advice is: If you manage to cram the needle into the muscle tissue, try to avoid the urge to depress the plunger.

Exactly, this is why gloves are necessary

Vapers come in all shapes and sizes. Who are we to judge?

Get a SuperT drip tip. I don't drip down the tip because it would clog the air hole. I just pull it off and drip down the sides of the tube 5-8 drops to keep it topped off. It also saves having to dig the cap off and risk damaging the wire - done that. I also like the tapered tip vs the round carto tip.

:)

For premium cartos, the fastest & easiest way I've found to fill or refill is to do a modified condom & spin.

After removing both condoms and the buttplug, I fill (and I mean FILL!) one of the condoms almost to the brim.

Insert the mouth end of the carto into the filled condom. Don't worry about getting it too far on, all you need is enough that the full condom won't fall off.

Next, put the buttplug & condom on the battery end.

Drop the entire thing, battery end down, into a battery bag (or whatever) and give it a 10 - 15 second spin.

All of the juice from the full condom goes down into the carto's batting & the buttplug prevents leaks.

If you pull the cap off right after the spin, you can see that the batting looks dry.

I can get a few more drops in if I want too, but it's not worth the extra effort.

Good to see you back, Pawpaw! I tried you fill method this morning on about 75 cartos and it definitely works like a charm. Takes a little more time than the regular condom fill, but well worth it, I think. I was able to do about 20 fills an hour, but that includes breaks for coffee, taking the pups out, and general morning confusion. Not a bad way to start the long weekend. I probably won't need to refill for 2-3 months now between what I did this morning and the order I put in last night. ;)

When you fill that many they will stay good for that long. When I start filling mine I will have loads of questions. I wonder if V4L has a hotline for filling class 101. lol

The juice has an official shelf life of 2 years. With the exception of whatever happens to be in my case for the day, my full cartos are all stored in the pantry so it's dark and has a relatively stable temperature. My empties are sitting in a jar on the kitchen counter. Right now I'm using a carto that was probably refilled back in late March or early April and I haven't noticed any problems. I'm way too lazy to boil cartos, so some of the juice in there is probably even older than that. I've only recently started refilling in "bulk" so I'll hade to let those with more experience Ollie up with more details or recommendations.
