510 4XL Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer - 1.5 ohm

I have acquired many tanks and Clearomizers, but still have this baby laying around that I like to play with.

My issue is when I fill it, I feel like 90% of the oil comes out of the bottom. If i put in 2ml, I feel like I loose 1.5 out of the bottom. Is their a trick to filling these? I have read fill up the clear plastic things that come with some carto's and fill from the bottom, but I dont have one for this size...only 808's IMG01 (2).jpg

Thanks guys....If I cant figure it out, no worries...my 30B, 30S, PT mini, PT2 and PT3 are leaps and bounds above this, but with only 1.5 ohm, I like playing with it on my MVP

In my experience you just have to go slow when filling those the first time. Just a little at a time and let it soak in before adding more, otherwise it'll run right through. Once it's been fully filled and you've used it and are ready to top it off they're not quite as temperamental

That's just my method, I'm sure somebody else will have some good techniques to share :)

There's a air hole in the center of the wick (polyfill). You don't want to get e-liquid in this hole. I put a tooth pick in the air hole to block out the e-liquid while adding the juice. Those large cartomizers will hold about 4 ml of e-liquid. Drop juice onto the wick, then flick the carto like you would do with an old mercury thermometer. This will force the liquid into the bottom of the carto. Add some more, flick some more.

When the wick will hold no more juice, it will look like a wet slushy drink. Remove the tooth pick and insert the mouthpiece.

Those cartos like to be topped off a lot. Being a dual coil, if you don't keep the wick wet at all times the top coil will burn the wick and you'll never get the burnt taste out of the carto - consider it ruined.
