Refilling Cartomizer Question - juice from Gourmet Vapor/v4l/VR

I ordered the volt starter pro kits and I am running low on cartz, I ordered 20 watermelon and 20 vanilla cartz 24mg.

The question is, everyone says you can refill the carts a few times with juice. What I want to know is, I wanna order vanilla and watermelon juice from Gourmet Vapor and possibly v4l and/or freedom usa. I want to try 80/20 pg/vg ratio juice. Can or should I do this? or should I order some fresh blanks and refill those with the new juice since the volt cartz were filled with 100% pg? Thanks in advance!

Hi vid,

You'll be fine adding similar flavors to prefilled cartos. PG vs VG won't matter after the first few tops offs.

If you prefer to clean them before trying your new liquids, here is a video. If you jump to the 6:00 minute mark, it will show you a quick cleaning method. After cleaning you can bake them on an oven safe plate at 170° for an hour, turn the oven off and leave them in it over night. You want them to be dry when you fill them. If you don't want to put them in the oven, set them battery side down on a paper towel for at least three days.

I used to use this method, but lately I've been using this cleaning kit, using a high proof vodka rinse. It actually works quite well, and they dry overnight standing battery side down on a paper towel. No oven needed.

Please keep in mind that cartomizers are meant to be disposable and nothing vapes as well, to me at least, as a fresh carto. I always stock up on blanks during sales.

I used to do it with mine. At first you might get a mixed flavor but it chages to the added flavor pretty fast. Besides yo might find a mixture of two that you like.
