YouTube - ‪Refill Ecig Cartos Quick and Easy (CCFM)‬‏ the condom method. I take the cap off and put it in from the cap end though but same effect. Easy and quick way to fill a carto that works.

It depends on preference how long you keep them and what kind of liquid you have. I use 100% VG and it gums them up quite quickly. It also depends on how tolerant you are to vapour loss or flavour reduction and how often you vape etc. Bottom line is, if it tastes bad to you or flat out stops producing vapour it's time to throw it. The lifespan of any carto will vary.

For me with 100% vg which is probably the worst thing for keeping cartos alive I can get anywhere up to two weeks on a carto and sometimes I'll get a few days.

I personally use a syringe to fill and just top it off with 5-6 drops after the initial fill when vapor production decreases. I used to use the condom method, but for me the syringe is quicker and less mess.

I can't really say exactly how many refills I get on a carto using this method, but I can have one last anywhere from 3-7 days. I have cleaned some with an ultrasonic cleaner, and it works very well on standard cartos.

Whats the best method you use to refill cartomizers?

And also, how many times do you estimate that you can refill i before it's no good?

I just got 5 of them in the mail today, and they're great. I just need to know when I should plan on ordering more.

Depends on what brand of cartos you are using. If you are using Genuine Joye 510 cartos, then absolutely the best way to refill them is with a syringe. 18ga, blunt tip.

If you are using the other style, such as Boge, on the initial fill a syringe is recommended to get down into that filler and insure it is saturated well. After that, you can just pop the rubber cap off and drip juice down the side. That is a bit less messy than the condom method which works well too.

If all you have is 5 cartos, then order some more right now. It's best to keep at least 15 or so on hand at all times.

Cartos can last anywhere from 1 day to 2 weeks or more. But each one is different. Ya just never know till the flavor and vapor start to diminish, or it just plain burns out.

I don't think of it as refilling. I think of it as keep them damp. Because if you don't keep a carto damp, then you might singe the stuffing and ruin its flavor.

Filling and adding juices depends on the kind of carto you got.

If you got some kind of reservoir cato like Joyetech or CE2/Clearomizer/Fluximizer then you need the kind of syringe they want. I think the Joyetech ones want a sharp syringe and the others want either their special flexible syringe tip or a blunt syringe. I don't use any of these so someone else will have to help you if that is what you got.

I only use stuffing-type cartos with soft cap and defined center air channels like Boge for 510, and Vapor4Life for my KR808D-1.

How I fill a blank:
Pop out the soft cap with an unbent paperclip in the mouth hole, very careful not to catch stuffing or the wire loop.
Shake and open the eliquid
Hold a bit of tissue on the threaded end hole, tilt the carto, and add 18+ drops per ml of capacity into the stuffing (Boges are about 1ml)
Clean up the threaded end, tilt open end down into tissue, puff into threaded end to clear air channel (Boges have a defined center air channel and I want to see light through that)
Sop up any loose juice above the stuffing
Cap and let it settle - I lay it on different sides for 15-20 minutes to make sure every bit of stuffing gets damp so I won't singe the carto. if you use thicker juice than me (I use 20% Vg or less) then you may need to wait much longer.

How I refill:
While vaping, if the vapor gets a bit light or a bit dry or the carto is getting hotter than normal, I take the carto off the battery and add eliquid. I sometimes use a plastic or delrin drip tip as a mouthpiece on Boge cartos (not to drip into since the juice would head for the central air channel)

I use manual batteries only and they are safer from being damaged by carto leaks. If I am using a prefill and I have the same liquid, I may check if it needs a bit more liquid before I even start using it. Many prefills are lightly filled.

Longevity - I can get 1-2 weeks or more good use out of a 510 Boge carto if I fill with very thin clear juice. I think the juice I am using has no more than 10% VG (it's a Vapor4Life WOW juice - WOWbacco - very thin and very clear but it does make a bit more vapor than pure PG). I get a week or more good use from a Vapor4Life WOW carto filling with a combination of WOW Vanilla and Gourment Vapor 80pg/20vg vanillarum. I find both higher VG and sediment from some darker juice flavorings can clog the stuffing of a carto and make it sluggish for wicking and for airflow.

I just drip down the side to fill. I use too many flavors to keep syringes for each. And I agree with everything that was said above. Keep them damp. Once it burns (from being dry) it is junk. Order more now. I try to keep at least 15 new cartos on hand. VaporGod and JooglerJuice have Boges for $7 per box with free juice per box. I like the LR cartos. You also might try the dual coil cartomizers if you are using an eGo or RIVA type battery. They hold much more, last longer, hit better.

Most Boge cartos will last under two weeks. Smoktech dual coils will last under three weeks. But you must keep them moist. A few drops every hour or two. I usually drip down the side until the juice drips out the bottom. Then I blow out the center.

I never mess with condom filling or syringes either. I just drip, let it soak in, drip, let it soak in. It takes a little longer, but I generally fill a few at a time and just stand them on their ends in a condom. I like the clear cartos that really let you see how much is in there.

I think people make too much out of refilling cartos. It's EASY and not messy. Pop the mouth piece out and drip from the bottle or dropper onto the filler but don't get any in the center tube. Wait a sec. and the juice will go down a bit. Continue until filler is saturated but not to where it pours out. Put the mouthpiece cap back in and vape away. Simple, clean. Top 'em off with a few more drops after breakfast and lunch and supper and you'll be in the vape for about two weeks before you have to change cartos because they start tasting bad/don't work very good anymore. Change to the next carto. That's ALL.
