When I get a hard draw on my cartos is that an indicator to toss them? I dont want to waste juice on another bad one. any other ideas as to when to toss a cart besides being burnt? I have to refill them as many times as I can for economical reasons.

When mine get to this point (after refilling/topping off many times), I put them aside to be cleaned later on. If you are not planning to clean them, it's probably time to toss 'em.
You can use a syringe or reverse taryn spin to remove the existing juice if you don't want to waste it.
Edit: If they still have a hard draw after cleaning, I consider the carto to be end of life.

It could be that your battery holes need cleaning or you need to take a straightened out paper clip (or something similar) and gently push it through the center of the carto. This will create an airhole thru the middle. They sometimes get stopped up during cleaning.
