minimum size useful for e-juice. PG is fine but VG is a bit of a struggle. It works but (especially drawing it into the syringe) it's slow.
I cant understand why you guys dont put the cap in the needle and fill it from the other end.. take out the plunger and fill it up put the plunger back in and hold it upside down needle part sticking up and push the air out?
I did this all the time when giving my cats or dogs medicine.. without the needle of course...and I have never used a syringe to fill any carto "YET" but reading through all this I had to just ask why this method would not work?

It's messy... you got to set the plunger down on something (paper towel), then you have to pour carefully, then you can't fumble when getting the plunger started back in the barrel, and there's that little bit that spits out of the needle when you start pushing the air out. ... and nobody thinks of doing it that way in the first place :)

Besides, you got your syringe and you WANT it to work this way :) pull in, press out, done.

Drs Foster & Smith carries them, and I think shipping is free.

you have to buy them seperately (from the same site) but

Syringes 3-20CC $0.15-$0.99: Syringe Only

Needles 18-25ga $0.19-$0.22: Needles

The warning at the bottom does state:

"Residents of CT, DE, IL, NJ, or NY, please ask your veterinarian for a prescription to purchase needles and syringes. Any licensed veterinarian can provide you with a prescription. The easiest way to get a prescription filled is to ask your veterinarian to call us at 1-800-447-3021 or Fax to 800-447-2404 with the prescription information."

Use the OPs suggestion and file / sand the tips blunt, as these will stab you easily!

I just checked at the local bottle shop and they do not sell anything over like 80 proof (40% alcohol) here in New Zealand. No Grain alcohol! They looked at me like I was from Mars or something. I had to lamely say " I'm not going to drink it or anything stupid like that" :p. I didn't go to the trouble to tell them about the time I dis-located my knee drinking grain and OJ on the beach.

Instead of messing with syringes, you folks might try the auto Drip Mod ADM on this thread. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/cartridge-mods/46294-must-try-adm-auto-drip-mod.html
Works like a champ and you just pop out the filler plug you put on the top, which is dry by the time you re-fill, and then use a dropper bottle to fill your cart up to the top of the spring. Put the fiber wadding back in and auto drip dry. I still use a syringe, without needle, to re-fill my 3ml dropper bottles but being a klutzy type person, I'm glad not to have to mess with needles.

Not that messy. I use a dropper. And yes, use a paper towel to lay plunger on and when pushing the air out.
I load a half dozen at a time so I don't have to do it often.
