Using the zerocig brand ecig currently. they come with disposable / single use carto. Heard a lot about people buying ejuice and/or making their own for use with ecigs.

Seen some examples of people simply refilling the disposable cartos with ejuice. Is that the typical method? Does it work well? Is it worth it convenience or money wise?

Im doing it,,,,,,carefully. I just pry the end piece out carefully and drip liquid onto the surrounding fibers, avoiding the center hole. I have found that if I don't refresh it with a few drops of juice a few times a day to keep the fibers quite wet, then I get a poor vape,,,,,burns my throat, tastes like plastic. There are two of us using it, though (DD decided she likes my e-cig better than the real thing) so I'm sure we are going through juice faster than normal.ETA,,,,,,,,,I don't think it's something I want to do long term,,,,,,,there are just much better ways. But for NOW, while I am waiting to purchase my Volt,,,,,,,,,,this will do.

Yep ... I'm finding unless I keep the ecig capped it dries out quite quickly and sometimes I'll get the same bad taste you mention. Cartos or at least the wick should last a while, before needing to be switched for a new one. I think being able to add some ejuice (if that's what it's called) while keep it fresh. Right now I keep the ecig standing upright all the time to make sure whatever is left has time to drip / wick down to the bottom.

Don't know anything about the zerocig brand, but as far as the cartos go, they can be refilled. Again, not sure what type of carto that brand uses, but my guess is they come pre-filled. You could simply figure out what type of connection they are and grab some blank cartos and fill them with whatever liquid you desire. Filling them is pretty straight forward and easy to do. You can simply do a search on google for ways to fill a carto for the first time. Here is a good video for that A PBusardo Tutorial : Filling Boge 510 Cartomizers - YouTube. If you keep them topped off well, you can potentially get weeks use out of one. Good luck!

Also, he is filling a 510 carto..I would guess that yours would not be that thread type, but the filling is the same.

I know that some of these pre filled carto's can be used again! I did with the V2 brand but matching up the flavor can be difficult so I would recommend going with a Boge carto, buying some juice and going that route! The only issue however,is it looks like the Zerocig is not a 510 connection!

Juice is inexpensive And the 510 cartos can be refilled MANY TIMES! As you look around, soon you may want to consider a tank system and a variable volt type of device, seems to be a natural progression! In the meantime if you like the small ecig feel and want to experiment with refillable 510 cartos Vaporbeast has a really solid inexpensive 510 kit for $32 bucks! http://www.vaporbeast.com/510_electronic_cigarette_p/sk1.htm
