Ok so I bought the cool carts and they are supposed to hold plenty of juice, right out of the box I fill up a condom and fill the cart batt end first, I do is slowly and juice comes up the mouth piece end really quick, I give it a spin or 2 and keep doing it..

I just got tired of doing that,

so what I do is take the cap off of the mouth piece and fill it with the condom that way..the carto sucks up everything and no juice comes out of the batt end, great..

everything is great, just some more sizzling while it's breaking in, any problems with this method?

I have refilled with the cap-off condom method too but hesitated to continue because I hadn't heard of anyone doing it that way before. I leave the cap on most of the time while refilling but I always pop it off (fill-spin-fill-spin-examine) to see how soaked the filler is before I proclaim it to be full and also to see if the tube is centered. I sit and do 25 to 30 refills at a time. I also wonder if it's okay to use this refilling method.

Whatever works for you! I still don't quite get the allure of using the condom at all - I've tried it, but it seemed clunky, and seemed to waste a lot of juice, and really didn't save much time. I always just pop off the white mouth piece and drip directly on to the filler, rotating as I go, until its full (stops soaking in), usually give it a spin after 18 drops or so, then continue dripping till it stops soaking in again (usually between 25 and 30, on coolcarts). Easy, fast, not as much mess as condom method IMHO (but I'm also just more comfortable with this, a condom-method-pro may not lose much juice at all)

I drip into the filler now also.....certainly the best way for coolcarts...imo. The liquid doesn't soak in as quick with the cc's and the CC condoms don't work well for the C-Method. It is nice to know a bunch of different ways to fill though. I go a step or 2 further and give a minor spin every 5 drops.....I never get the juice in the airflowtube this way. OCD..um..YES. :)

The way Coolcarts are described in this forum being longer and having nubs inside the condom instead of a separate ....-plug, they must be like the RY4 carts, right?

I'm curious....when you drip juice into a premium/Wow cart with a separate ....-plug (e.g. Cowboy) do you have the ....-plug inserted before filling or only before spinning?

I find that each time I refill my cart it holds less juice, but I'm not sure why. The first time, maybe it holds 22 drops, the 2nd time maybe maybe 15, the 3rd time 5, the 4th time 5, the 5th time 5, the 6th time 3. This varies from cart to cart, but usually after 6 times it's not even worth filling anymore, because it just stops vaping well providing small hits that don't taste so good. This is just my experience, and my theory is that the filler material will just naturally die out and hold less juice each time you fill it until it get's to the point where 1 or 2 drops will fill it and it tastes like bleh! So really, if you're going to be at work all day, you need fresh carts that are going to hold 22 drops if you want to vape easily without refilling again and again. But maybe it's just me that this happens to? But, condom or drip, it all gets in there. Yes the condom is more messy. Dripping is more fun. I like to drip in the battery end and then wipe. Haven't tried the mouth, but I'll give it a try tomorrow.

I no longer use the condom method so-to-speak, I simply pop the cap and direct drip while holding and turning the carto at an angle. It seems I have received 4 types of caps with shipments, Generic with no type of post, cone, plug, and those with.

When I fill a new blank I will place a cap 1/4 of the way on the battery end. Fill it generously until it drips a little juice into the cap. Then I squeeze the cap which forces any air bubbles back through the top of carto. If I have additional cartos to fill I simply remove the cap and squeeze any excess juice in the cap into the next carto or remove the dropper from the juice bottle and squeeze it back into the bottle.

If a carto still seems like it has too much juice I simply squeeze the bottle, put the dropper over the battery hole and release, this gives enough suction to suck out any overfill right back into the bottle.

Once a carto is in play, I generally top it off with a couple drops every couple of hours. Taryn spin is o.k., however if you put a cap about 1/2 way up on the battery end you'll quickly see how much excess just shoots out the battery hole.

I also make it a point to wipe dry the batt end of the carto, as well as the battery itself, especially the threads and around the air holes. Sometimes a well-filled carto has a problem getting started, those I put on P/T to get going before I switch them over to a battery.

I've had this happen on a couple carto's... but only with certain juices. Maybe some juices leave more residue that others when vaped? Anyway - I nearly always find that after cleaning the carto (I boil them, replace the water, boil them again, let them dry) they come back nicely.
