If regular cartos work for you....no worries! I did that myself when I first started. Nothing wrong with that! However, I found that I loved vapiing so much, I was vaping more and more...hence, more and more topping off the carto. Got kinda old! lol! So I moved up to larger cartos and then cartos in tanks.

I still use 2 piece system. I use a carto on the road and clearomizers at home. I use the clearos because I like to change up my desert vapes each day and with the clearomizer, I can empty and clean.

That was my thoughts exactly...i love only having two pieces a carto and a battery :) Nothing wrong with that!

I was lucky to find ECF before buying anything...so I started on an E-Power 14650 with the 1.7ohm LR XL "Resurrector" cartos. They hold nearly 2ml of juice each and it's still not enough...

I can see myself going to clearos or tanks pretty soon. I also love dripping for the variety and ease of changing flavors as I feel like it, so I probally will be looking at a better drip atty than the generic 510 attys I got with the kit. Although, they are pretty dang good so far.

It's just all so awesome. :D

I don't even know what cone is. Lol

It's like a sleeve that covers the threads between the switch and the carto.

Example:
The purpose of the cone is both aesthetic and functional; it gives the PV its clean shape and also affects the draw and heat of the vapor. The cone is not required for the device to function.

Here's mine on my E-Power, which is a pretty big cone compared to some of the Riva/eGo cones, but you get the idea.

With the cone in place

Without the cone

I tend to leave mine off when I'm at home for easier adjusting.

Is your a 2 pc unit otherwise?

No, it's a bit more. Unlike the eGo types, this unit has replaceable batteries and power switches.

Mine's the stainless steel version and instead of the atty and cartridge, I have a SS 1.7ohm XL LR cartomizer with a aluminum drip tip in place. I do still use my atomizer though with the metal drip tip for dripping juices. :)

Otherwise, that is how it comes apart though. If you click my sig, you'll see exactly what I got.
