I've found that as time has passed and my taste buds are coming back to life once again that yes, e-juices are tasting better but at the same time I'm also able to taste what you might call 'imperfections' in the mix. Another words I can taste better so I am able to discern slight differences in my DIY mixes. But nothing in a bad way, actually a good way so I can now finely tune my juice.

I found that some juices that I liked a lot when I first started vaping ended up tasting strange/bad to me (RY4 for example) while others that I didn't like in the beginning (555, Green Tea) grew on me and became my favorites. I kinda freaked out when these changes started happening... scrambling for something that tasted good... often going from one flavor to the next until everything tasted strange (!). Now that my taste has stabilized (if you will) I am enjoying vaping even more than when I started, and like Shortstuff, can now detect even the slightest differences in 555 juice (my all-day vape).
