Actually, EmpireMods attys start out great and IMO have diminished performance later. Oh, and don't hit them above 3.7 (maybe 3.8v max) or they'll be fried; also I never recommend dry burning bridge free attys (don't know why, but they seem to be less able to stand up to it). That is my experience with them. They hit great to start with tremendous flavor and performance; but that doesn't last. After a short while I always got reduced vapor output (whispy vapor), easy flooding (the mesh seems less absorbent), and more frequent dry hits. But once again, from jumpstreet they were all great.

Were you vaping on a VV or VW? What volts or watts did you have it set at?

+++++++++++++++=10 on that for sure

Guess I got caught up in the more volts is better/more. When you are new to something it is harder to weed out the wheat from the chaff. I try to look for posts from experienced people but there are so many, and so many ways to do basicly the same thing. It's a journey.

Thank you all for your feedback. I'll keep reading and vaping and learning.

You are so right there, half the people dont know what they are talking about. Just because some people have alot of posts dont necessarily mean anything.

Everyone has an opinion.

You will soon learn on your own by trial and error. I will say this - MrMann does know what hes talking about with regular drip attys and tobacco e-juice.

Hey MM how you doing??

Living the good life. The baby is growing everyday and I am learning more and more about what she needs from me--least of which is to stop kissing her so much. LOL. Hope you are doing well, D.

Don't sweat that, Mr. Mann. There is actually a sound biological reason we kiss our babies....

They're so CUTE!!!!

Thank you Mr. Mann. Your PIF with a 510 atty and NLV Gold has opened up a whole new world to me. I have to say this is really my first experience of what vaping must be meant to be. I have only been vaping for 9 days, but none of the 7 or 8 juices I have tried, or any of the 6 juices I have sampled in a local vape shop were in the same league as Gold. I think you gave me my all day vape. I might have not found this flavor on my own. Plus I think you may have saved me a couple hundred dollars and lots of searching for something I can vape all day and enjoy. I think I am a dripping tobacco girl.

I have not had a cigarette since I started dripping the NLV Gold. Amazing. I was smoking again after the atty pop and trying to vape the juice I had. I still need a lot of practice on the dripping technique, still getting dry hits a little and I am doing some over enthusiastic dripping (I tell myself the drops are just bigger, ha!). But I will practice and learn. How long does the Gold need to steep, when I order some more?

I've got a couple chief's bastos that I use regularly. I still use the rda's more often since I like to drip less and vape more. They are on par with my rebuilds for flavor, just don't put out as big clouds. Vape is moist and tasty though, so I will likely buy a few more just in case.

Where did you pick up your Bastos atties? I've been dying to try them, partially because of Pinoy bias.

Can someone tell me if the Vapage Hybrid atomizers "2 pack" means it comes with 2 atomizers or two packs of the 2 atomizer package, meaning a total of 4 atomizers? Last time I ordered from them, I received 2 packs with 2 atomizers each, thought it was a mistake but I'm not really sure. Also, are the Cisco atomizers better than the Vapage ones? I liked the Vapage ones, thinking of ordering some more, but I've never tried the Cisco types.

Alright, this is merely an overview of SmartVapes 34mm Drippin Atties.

V- IMHO, more than enough for me.
T- IMHO, more than enough for me.
F- IMHO, more than enough for me.

Leakage- Only if you over drip (more than 4 drops) and or cover your drip tip hole while inserting it.
Heat- These atties heat up and I mean heat up after 45 seconds (for me at least).
Draw- Semi-tight...for me at least.
Ohms- N/A (don't have a DMM...lost)

I went all noobtastic on the first atty...but the second one has been working very well for me and I'm using 95% VG juice at 24mg nic. Every night I blow the remaining gunk out and than prime it with just 1 drop so it doesn't dry out. It seemed to take 48 hours give or take for it to break in and allow the magic to happen, will differ for you though. I am glad I invested in 15 of these, I absolutely love these atties and only $5.99 each...that's highway robbery imho.

Oh yeah, these have yet to spit juice in my mouth...I have gotten plenty of juice in my mouth from forgetting to blow the juice downward through the drip tip (again, noobtastic mistake that plagues me). Not many cons as of yet, only been using this atty for 5 days....time will tell and so will a DMM once I find it again and learn how to use it again. I don't like using drip shields due to not liking adapters but never needed them to begin with.

Well, I can say that I highly recommend these atties to the regular atty drippers.

I'm thinking RBAs are "better," because a lot of people put less value on their time than their money. I'm leaning more toward RBAs, just because the tanks they come in are generally better (at least as far as I can tell). But I really have no intention of rebuilding them. I'm just going to toss them when they die and buy more because I don't do well fiddling with wire and wick. I have a couple tanks with RBA heads, but I'm not going to stock wire and wick. Just toss 'em and replace 'em.

Another reason might just be fear of a ban. If we all stock up on RBA heads, wire and wick will always be available, so we could all just keep rebuilding our coils and never have to worry about it. I'm not that worried though.

To each their own...don't fall for the "doomsday" hype on the ban trend, if it does happen...it happens. Just vape your way and live/vape for today and not worry bout the future.

Exactly. I don't have anything against people who want to rebuild their attys. Good for them, I say. If it comes to a point that I have to do that, I'm glad they're all there to teach me how. :) But for now, I'm just happy to have a (mostly) simple way to get the nic I need to avoid the damn cigarettes. I'll buy my replacement heads, and leave the rebuilding to more qualified people. :)

Just 2 attys. Now, as to which is better, I just can't say as attys can be like flavors: people like what they do.

This is my response from the other thread, but since it may be helpful here, I'll re-post:

You are most welcome.

How to know when to add juice? Okay, here is a technique I use, and it's simple: before you push your button, take a (quick) dry drag and if you hear any fluid rustling around, it's not dry. If it sounds dry, it's dry. A heavy gurgle (flooding) is not good, but it's not bad, so just vape it lightly until it recedes. Or, you can just blow it out a touch. Either which way, you should be getting about, uhh, I have no idea how many drags you should get per drip-set, but you'll figure it out. That's the thing, I have no idea how much I get per drip-set or even really how many drops I add--it's second nature.

About 4 or 5 drops if totally dry (but when totally new, you may get away with a couple more), and about 3 or 4 if just re-charging or for a few vapes. It really all depends.

One thing that complicates it further is the fact that drops can be vastly different sizes.

I have some 15ml bottles from Kick Bass Vapor that take 8 drops to fill up an eRoll cartridge...
I have some other smaller 7ml bottles from Halo that take 20 drops to fill that same eRoll cartridge...

And the viscosity of the juice. Yeah, it's an art more than a science.

Yes, nothing in dripping is formulaic, including drop sizes or number of drops per re-application. Dripping is a manual interaction between the vaper and his/her personal environment, including all the variables of that environment: PV/battery, atomizer, juice, etc. It's custom-tailored.

I'd stop short of calling it complicated, however. To me, dripping has a learning curve that's quickly mastered. Then it becomes intuitive and nearly automatic until another variable changes---voltage/wattage, different atomizer, new juice, smaller drops, whatever. Then it's back to another brief learning curve.

The main question I see is whether the repetitive discipline of dripping is worth the effort (in terms of flavor and satisfaction) over the more "convenient" systems (cartos/clearos/tanks). For me, the answer is sometimes. I like and use all the standard ways of converting juice into vapor: dripping, cartos/clearos/tanks, and bottom-feeders---shifting from one to another and back.

I always drip to sample new juices, but I also sometimes drip simply because it suits my whim at that moment.

Just two. The Cisco spec atties aren't better than the Vapage ones, but the draw is a tad tighter (an effect you can duplicate on the Vapage ones by using a drip shield and 510>510 adapter). I like 'em both.
