I am a fairly new vaper, about one and a half months now. I do not smoke anymore. I researched my first kit for a couple of weeks. I read Baditude's blog on atty, cartos and clearos and then I read Ocelot's Dripping blog. Asked her a question, she responded and I made sure I ordered a 510 atty with my first setup. I use Evods when I am not at home. All the rest of the time I drip onto a Joye 510 atty. And I LOVE it.
What other small, portable, and cheap device can provide the flavor and ability to change flavors without having to know what you are doing. Just a little practice and patience and a kind expert to answer a newbie's unending questions.
I keep reading about how dripping is so limiting. In my eyes, it has set me free.
I am free to taste any liquid any time I want. I have learned the hard way to keep a separate atty for anything with mint or menthol in it. On my third day of vaping I popped a coil trying to do a dry burn to get a nasty flavor out. What did I do? Bought more 510 attys. That way I always have more than several available to me. I also do not dry burn anymore. I blow them out in between flavors or, since I mostly vape tobaccos, I just keep one atty for tobaccos, one for fruits and bakery types and one that I rarely use for mints and menthols, since I do not care for those flavors.
I do not want to learn rebuilding of anything. I don't see why I would pay $20 or $50 or more for an atty or delivery device when I can get great flavor and a satisfying vape with my 510 atty. I have a Spinner. It works for me now. The atty is more important. I have a ProTank and it is still in its pretty box, unused. I have a tobacco vape as my adv and will fill up my Evod if I am out. Why use the ProTank, I would rather drip on my 510 atty. I am happy. I am a dripper.
I want to thank Mr. Mann for this thread and his assistance to this new vaper. I have not posted before because I felt I had nothing to add to the discussion. I have learned a lot from just reading this one thread. It is hard to find a discussion on just dripping without all the rebuilding and techie talk. This thread is golden. Dripping is why I am an ex-smoker and why I stay that way.
