I can't use plastic because of the juice I like. I have regular Cannons from Cherry Vape, but the juice affected the bottom just slightly enough that there is a bit of leaking.

ETA: For my tanks, I use ss, glass and ceramic tips. I've seen ss 306 tips, but they look heavy. I haven't seen them made of any other material.

I've used a SS one from Empire - it's not too heavy, but I don't like it's looks that much. I prefer to use an adapter sleeve and drip shield or a DCA for 306/i06.
The Grail and Drip Body also seem like good options.... or a Vela Latina, Amp tank, ufs, etc. :)

I am a fairly new vaper, about one and a half months now. I do not smoke anymore. I researched my first kit for a couple of weeks. I read Baditude's blog on atty, cartos and clearos and then I read Ocelot's Dripping blog. Asked her a question, she responded and I made sure I ordered a 510 atty with my first setup. I use Evods when I am not at home. All the rest of the time I drip onto a Joye 510 atty. And I LOVE it.

What other small, portable, and cheap device can provide the flavor and ability to change flavors without having to know what you are doing. Just a little practice and patience and a kind expert to answer a newbie's unending questions.

I keep reading about how dripping is so limiting. In my eyes, it has set me free.

I am free to taste any liquid any time I want. I have learned the hard way to keep a separate atty for anything with mint or menthol in it. On my third day of vaping I popped a coil trying to do a dry burn to get a nasty flavor out. What did I do? Bought more 510 attys. That way I always have more than several available to me. I also do not dry burn anymore. I blow them out in between flavors or, since I mostly vape tobaccos, I just keep one atty for tobaccos, one for fruits and bakery types and one that I rarely use for mints and menthols, since I do not care for those flavors.

I do not want to learn rebuilding of anything. I don't see why I would pay $20 or $50 or more for an atty or delivery device when I can get great flavor and a satisfying vape with my 510 atty. I have a Spinner. It works for me now. The atty is more important. I have a ProTank and it is still in its pretty box, unused. I have a tobacco vape as my adv and will fill up my Evod if I am out. Why use the ProTank, I would rather drip on my 510 atty. I am happy. I am a dripper.

I want to thank Mr. Mann for this thread and his assistance to this new vaper. I have not posted before because I felt I had nothing to add to the discussion. I have learned a lot from just reading this one thread. It is hard to find a discussion on just dripping without all the rebuilding and techie talk. This thread is golden. Dripping is why I am an ex-smoker and why I stay that way.

Never mind, I misread the post I was responding to.

I just hate the taste and coldness of steel drip tips. I usually use very plain Delrin ones from Empire or Vapage.

y cherry y,

Me too. Metal against my teeth invariably produces a reaction I don't like. Something in the combination of cold and metallic doesn't work for me. I know that many people love metal drip tips and swear by them, but it's plastic all the way for me personally.

Ceramic drip tips, a wise investment.

I love ceramic drip tips, but I love hand-blown glass ones even more. My Envision Vapor tips are my current favorites.

On a side note, if anyone is interested in winning three Boge dripping atomizers, I'm having a contest on this Naturally-Extracted-Tobacco.com preview page. You should enter...because free stuff!

So how are Boge attys? I think I had those, but I honestly can't remember now.

I haven't had a drop get stuck in the drip tip

Yeah... I tried dripping straight into the drip tip once.... once.

All it does is get all clogged up down there and make a mess.

Maybe I just need some high end tips, or just keep pulling the tip off first and save a bunch.

I'm cheap.

Since I am not a chain vaper, I just pull the drip tip off and put it right back on. Maybe if I vaped incessantly that would get old, but maybe not. Actually, it doesn't matter as that is my process and I like it as is. Vape it like ya' wanna.

Leo, PM incoming...

You don't need high-end tips. You need wide-mouth tips. I'm sure you can find inexpensive ones if you shop around.

That's the awesome thing with vaping--save for batteries, anything you can think of has a super cheap, and sometimes equally effective, alternative or, ahem, clone. LOL

The new Vision Aurora, a bottom feed attachment for a tube mod, isn't super cheap but it's a lot more budget friendly than a bottom feeder. I don't know if I lucked into a good atty but the one that came with my Aurora is every bit as good as my Cisco specs.

Also, I'm finding that the Aurora does a better job of feeding the right amount of juice to keep the atty fully saturated than my VMOD-XL. For those of us that love dripping but don't get the Zen of manual dripping and are partial to pushbutton VW or VV the Aurora is a nice solution. Another big plus is that it couldn't be easier to use.

I got mine at the UK Ecig Store and have three more on the way. Mad Vapes, Vision's contact in the U.S. will have them in about 3 weeks. Eric at Discount Vapers is also looking into carrying the Aurora. I posted pictures of all the pieces in this thread, Vision Aurora BFT - bottom feeder kit for tube mods. If I were gifting something to a new vaper I would give them the Aurora with an Innokin iTaste VV 3.0.

Todd who has reviewed countless rebuildables gave the Aurora a favorable review.

First time posting on this thread. I ordered a couple of these SmartVapes 510 Dripping Atomizer long Barrel 1.5ohm and one was DOA and the other one leaks so bad that I can't justify bothering my time with them anymore.

Can anyone suggest a good dripper that doesn't leak and kicks out good flavor? I'm still using a couple EGO 640 VV and would like to keep using those with a good dripping atty.

I'm not opposed to looking at a RBA since I already have a Pro Tank and some EVODs.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
