Quite awhile for me. I only clean my attys once a month (or thereabout). I guess it all depends on how many atties you have in rotation or how dirty the liquid is you use.
I have a bunch of old atties that I need to go through. I hate waste, and I'm cheap. So, I tend to avoid throwing things away until I'm absolutely sure they're no good anymore.

Boy oh boy do I love my good ole Joye 510 attys. Since I have been using the r91 I have been neglecting my little attys. Been having some issues with the r91, leaking, bad orings, cranky wicking so I pulled out a new 510 atty. Ahhhhhhhhhh. Finally, a great vape again.
Plus, I am probably going to save a fortune on the cost of eliquid for the next few days. I can always rely on my Joye 510 attys.

That's a really good point about dripping atty's. Every other RBA/tank device I use goes through juice MUCH faster than dripping. Haven't had the luck others have had with the Joye's though.
I have been pulling on the same HH357 for about 3 months now though. Doing the math in my head, at 4 times the cost of the 510's I've been buying, 3 months use from one is a bargain even at the lofty price. Broke down and ordered some more today. It's a hit to get a hand full, but I should be set for quite awhile.
I have what I suppose is a Vision Vivi Nova tank. I just told the guy I wanted a tank with a replaceable atty and that's what it looks like to me. So far I'm really happy with it. But I want to try dripping. Can I do it with this tank? Money is tight so I can't really afford to experiment. I just tried dripping and maybe I put too much in. 3-5 drops maybe? But I am not getting much of a hit. Not vapor and no flavor. Tastes like I hit without pushing the button. Did I put too much in? Is there some additional step(s) I must take? Does it not really work well with this type of tank?
For me vaping is all about the flavor. Clouds are nice, but flavor is king in my book and I hear dripping is the best way to get flavor. I don't really want to start buying new gear if I don't have to.

I was 58 when I began this journey after 40 years of slowly killing myself, 20 of those years struggling to quit. Since day one of trying vaping I can happily say not a single analog since. Yes I have tried a puff now and then but every time was a 1 puff YECK!!! No way! I still use 510 bridgeless atomizers to try/test flavors.

ECX's shipping is really cheap too. I picked up three more, including shipping, and it was still under $15.00 (Pretty sure they have an ECF coupon code too.)
No idea who makes 'em but - wow. I still think the Ikenvape IO6's give me slightly better flavor. The problem I have with the Ikenvapes is I only get 10 - 14 days out of them and the coil pops. Even this high resistance 2.5 ohm ones.
Anyway, if you like the 306 form factor these are well worth checking out. Me happy!

I think I'm giving up on RBA's. I've bought 10 now and none of them taste nearly as good as an old Joye 510 atty. I've tried every gauge wire from 24 to 34 and used different wicking materials. The vapor production is the same but the taste is so lacking!
I think the big question is - where are we going to get them in the future? All the manufacturers seem to be concentrating on rebuildables now. I would like to see some long-lasting pre-built cheap-to-buy 510 attys immediately, please. So who in China will take that factory shift for us?

I go back and forth with this issue. In my experience, the rebuildables vary widely, based on design, coil/wick builds, and juices used. There seems to be little consistency in what makes a particular rebuildable atty work well, so it's not as simple as learning how build a good micro-coil or using Kho Gen Do cotton or rayon wicking. Every RBA seems to present its own unique challenges.
By contrast, old-school 510 atties are relatively simple. Sure, they vary in the vape quality, not only between brands but within brands as well, but they are wonderfully straightforward. I have 50 PVs on my desk, all loaded and ready to go with different flavored juices---VVs, VWs, and kicked mechanicals topped with rebuildable evod-style clearos, kayfun and nautilus tanks, bottom-fed RBAs, RDA drippers, etc. Among that little forest of PVs is a VAMO with a Joyetech 2.2 ohm standard 510 atty. That's my juice tester and has been for years. Drip in six drops, taste test, then remove the atty, blow it out, and it's good to go for another juice. Sometimes I find myself vaping it for an hour at a stretch, just because I like the flavor it provides so much.
Yes, I have a Magma RDA with a single 24-gauge 0.9-ohm microcoil wicked with KGD cotton topping a mech mod on my desk, and it's probably a bit superior in vapor production and flavor than my Joyetech 510, but only by a nose. The Magma is truly a beautifully designed and brilliant RDA. If I want to change flavors in the Magma, however, I have to take it to the kitchen and rinse out the well and wicks, so I don't change juices very often, and I don't use it to test new juices.
For some of us (me included), it's fun to watch and participate in the evolution of the vaping industry by trying out the latest-and-supposedly-greatest new pieces of kit, but we know also that the more things change, the more they stay the same. That's why this thread exists.

These are not quite the DigitalCiggz deal, but it's the best since -- as long as what they send are what they picture. I loaded my cart with high quantities to see what they had in stock. These are what they have left:
5 x black and 1 x SS for the 1.8Ω
5 x black and 7 x SS for 2.2Ω (those are the resistance I always used).
3 x black and 2 x SS 2.8Ω.
5 x black 3.2Ω and 4 x SS 3.2Ω.
2 x black and 2 x SS 4.0Ω.
Once again, I have not vetted these attys, but they are worth looking into. Some of those resistances Ι've never seen in a Joyetech -- that's not to say they don't exist though.

I buy from Desert Vapes all the time (they are almost in my backyard). Stellar service and fastest shippers in the west. They take pics of actual items. I'll vouch for them. The website won't let you buy more than what's in stock also (I try). I picked up apx 20 unsealed bridgless for my Vmod a couple of weeks ago. They have good prices on a lot of things.
