I agree with Bill. I also think the hard hit that 510's demand gives me a more concentrated blast of vapor to all parts if my mouth -- roof, tongue, soft palate, throat. With some juices, I get different flavor components in different spots.

Love your new avi. I am definitely picking up what you are laying down!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, so I just watched the Rip Trippers video on the Immortalizer... and he actually compared the way it vapes to the hh.357... this is quite exiting for me. The Immortalizer does have some aspects that I'm not very keen on though, like that it's designed for ribbon wire, and that it has some aluminium parts, which I try to avoid in my atties.

But the takeaway for me is that the Immortalizer has a ceramic base plate, so the coil is capable of resting on the actual airflow hole that comes from the bottom, which just so happens to be the same way that those old school drippers that we all love are also designed...

So my question to you fine folks is this: Can you think of any RDAs that have 1) airflow coming form under the coil 2) a ceramic cup/base plate?

The American market seems skewed towards lung hits these days - I'd look to European designs. Off the top of my head:
For mouth inhales you can't really go wrong with a Hellfire. If you want airflow from below, there's the Titanium mods (Titanium mods from Ukraine - Titanium mods from Ukraine) attys - several of them are this style. Holy Land mods and Yealiq also make attys this way.
NoName mods BF-99 is also like this, and I believe it has ceramic as well - the overall design of it is quite original and interesting.
Scientist's attys have ceramic, but side airflow. They work great, though :)

Squape r fits your criteria. Great atty, the last you'll ever need.

Awesome guys, thanks for the suggestions. I just researched the Squape R, and it seems really good, but the original is so pricey and hard to come by, and the clones kind of scare me cuz I don't trust the ematal coating on them, plus I think I want to stick to drippers.

I had forgotten about the Titanium Mods option, they really appeal to me cuz I really like the idea of having an attie made from titanium, only thing I don't like about them is the price... but I'll find some more reveiws and if I get exited enough maybe I'll go through their strange order proces. And I'll also research the bf-99 and the Scientist's attys now.

Geez, looks like I've created a lot of vape homework for myself ever since I decided I want an atty for mouth inhales...

No ceramic, but the Fatty v2 and Magma both have airflow under the coils. The Fatty, sadly, was apparently designed by a team of drunk monkeys; it is mechanically the worst piece of junk you'll ever encounter -- but it hits well. The Magma, on the other hand, is built very well and hits nicely with great flavor. Not exactly like a simple atty, but the airflow under the coil makes the effect very similar. It also has a massive well that holds close to a ml of juice. I use it for gunky juices that don't play well with 510's. Since you can get a clone version for about the price of one HH357, it's worth a try.

I have the Titanium mods "Prometey". It is actually a special edition, shorter than the original and without the option to put filler in the top. I prefer to just use the 20 drop base without filler. If you want to hold a lot of juice, the regular Prometey with filler is what you want, if you are fine with about 20 drops at a time, the Achilles would be your best bet. Super light, easy to build, very friendly for MtL hits, and tastes wonderful with a Japanese cotton build in a 1.5 ohm mini coil. When I'm not vaping the Prometey, I use the HH357 and I find the flavors to be very close.

I actually just ordered an Infinite Magma clone. I'm exited. Still on the hunt for one more good RDA that is good for Mouth to Lung inhales though.

I've been trying to convince myself to get the Achilles... I so like the idea of a titanium RDA, titanium just seem like it would be an ideal material for the purpose.

Gee, an entire page of off-topic posts.

Ha! This thread has managed to avoid it so far. However, at least it is off-topic based on the likes and recommendations from, and for, regular atty users. I find it amazing that this thread never got trolled from the RBA diehards!

Thanks Mr. , Actually went to Madvapes, specified "drip" atomizer and got a bunch of RDAs. I'm just not that interested in building the things. Looking for the old style (disposable, I guess they are called now) Oops, spoke too soon, just search "Atomizers" and I got a bunch. Kinda pricey, looking to buy in bulk.

Appreciate your help.

Am I still the only one who has tried the 1.0 ohm Cisco 510's? I revisited on my new VMod and it seems my connection issue was due to my defective model. It works well, but I find it airy compared to my other 510 atomizers; including my Vapage Hybrid BF atties. I'm not a huge fan of the flavor, but whether that is because of the atomizer or my liquid vaporizing at a higher temperature I'm not sure. It was worth trying out though.

Does any one know where I can buy 510 atomizers in bulk? I may never find them again.

Use to go to DigitalCiggz, which apparently has gone B&M.

DigitalCiggz was my go-to place for attys too and I have to say that I really prefer VaporKings attys! Their Joye 510's do not have the gold band and they last SO much longer than DigitalC's 510's. I was having bad problems over the last yr with my attys lasting 1-3 days and then frying. They read "0" when tested. That is NOT happening with VaporKings standard 510 attys.

Always wanted to try out a 510 atty, but I don't want to buy an entire box of them just to discover that I don't like them. On a fixed budget, ya know.... Anybody know of a vendor that sells them individually?

That's how most vendors sell 'em. Empire Mods has a dandy 510 in either standard- or long-barrel for $5.99.
