Hi everyone.
First, Mr.Mann, you've done it again. You start the best threads, I mean that. Thanks.
Also thanks to everyone who contributed. Good stuff.

I've been trying to learn about dripping and been piecing things together but this thread gives me more info than a lot combined.
This is something that I really want to get into. I have a million juices and need a way to try them all w/o filling something big and the want to change out juices quickly. Dripping seems the way. At least while I'm home.

Do have a few questions though. The more I look at sites for hardware the more confused I get. I'm on Empiremods now and having trouble piecing things. Although they have a kit which is tempting because of my lack of knowledge: Empiremods eGo Passthrough Dripper's Starter Kit Crazy?

I'm working off of SI spinners right now so I guess that's a 808, so I think I'm going to have to change my whole set up. You folks have me thinking the 501 thing like in that starter kit. So I need a new battery/connection set up which is ok with me.

So...I guess I need a battery (ego t?), 501 atomizers, drip shield and drip tip. I'm really confused about which shield and tips go with the atomizers.

Also, is there an illustration or good explanation on the difference between bridged and unbridged? Can't figure that one out.
Thanks again to everybody.

Yep, you can use a 901 atty with that no prob or get an adaptor for 510s. Unless you have an automatic battery, then you'll want to get a manual.

Any drip shield at EmpireMods will work, just pick one you like the looks of the best because they all work the same. Just get one made by them, not the imported ones as they tend to either not fit as well or tighten up the draw.

Bridged or bridge-less, doesn't matter either would work. I prefer bridge-less as they just seem to run better for me and you get a clear look at the coil, but the difference is minimal. The bridge is only there because people used to use carts and the bridge would wick the juice from the cart to the atty, but having it or not doesn't make much difference since you'll be dripping.

Don't have much time right now, but first I want to say "Thanks!"

Essentially, bridge-free attys have less wicking material, no bridge (obviously) and are really good with flavor and vapor. I don't think they are as good, as a general rule, with TH (as opposed to bridge). A good thing about bridge-free attys is there is no break-in (once again, as a general rule--the HH series are different all together and require a break-in). I prefer Joyetech attys for everyday vaping, but in a crunch, I'll take EM 510 attys (bridge-free) in a heart beat. Bridge free-attys (specifically EM attys) will work great right out of the package, but they also have a tendency to lose, uhh, steam.

I have had Joye attys last months, but bridge free attys can just die after a couple weeks. I don't personally like the HHs, so someone else may shed some light on those.

Sorry, I am finishing up dinner, but others may be able to help out with their opinions further.

EDIT**I have been thinking about this and there is no "general rule" when it comes to much with vaping. I have had bridge-free attys from Roar that had great TH and bridge attys that had no TH. Essentially, you kind of just have to find a good one. EM attys are easily a good atty to recommend.

I am too new but mr Mann is my guide and I fallow his word like written in stone. His type of atty he's talking about single handily rocked my vaping world. I due to life style can't be a full time vapor but it is amazing.

Oh stop it! I don't know jack diddly about much. I help out with what I can.

If your Smokeless Image Spinner is 808-threaded, then you can use a 901 atomizer.
Or you can get a 808-510 adapter if you want to use 510 atomizers.
Great, from what I remember from the many pages of this thread, I think I might go for the adapter to use the 501. Nice to know I can use my spinners, kind of like them. It's a little hard figuring out all the different threads.

Manuals it is. I started with an auto but realized the manual was where it's at for me. Maybe I'll try both bridge and bridge-less then to see the difference. I like the idea of seeing the coil. When I empty a cart of the filament I see a bridge(?) which seems to also have a small wick. I can't see the coil unless I look down that little tube in the middle towards a light. I'll just pick a shield that fits a 501 then and not the imported ones. Thanks.

While I'm thinking of getting both type attys to try them out, bridge free makes the most sense to me from what you say. Pure juice on the coil, nothing in between, just pure flavor. I like no break in also. I think I'll just order some EM's tonight and look for some Joye hardware tomorrow. Try them both out, both types. Get the leaning curve over with. After I get my chops down I'll think about the HH.

Can't thank you all enough. Is there a vaping wiki on this board? I haven't found it yet. If there isn't, it might be good idea. Another site I hang out on (Badger and Blade) has a great wiki esp. for someone new like me. Thanks again. Great thread, maybe good for a sticky.

There's no bridge in a carto. In an atty the bridge is just a piece of metal that curves outward and has metal mesh on it.

Mr Mann I just respect the heck out of you. I had to play it up.

It's cool and I do appreciate it. My whole thing is just that I try to find areas that are not being addressed. Well, there is fairly nothing on ECF not addressed, but right now there is such a push for everyone to get into RBAs (or RDAs) and genesis attys that I just wanted to get something going that let people know that many vapers do not go that route. Of course many people still use cartos, ViVi, T1234567s (or whatever) but I wanted a place that addressed what I find to be a very high quality vaping experience. I thank you for your enthusiasm and actually being open to trying it out.

One thing I have not talked about is how many bridge or bridge-free attys I have tried that flat-out sucked. I must remember to not draw such generalizations because I would feel terrible if someone read this thread and thought that "all" regular attys were as awesome--there is no such device that rocks in all its variations.
