Ok. My 5 volt vaping on 510 Cisco Special debridged 3.00 ohm is working. It works a little better with the 306 Cisco Special debridged 3.00 ohm. Its fast working! And i have to be morecareful to avoid dry hits. I have these 5 volts for WTA vaping which ive always found to be a finicky juice ( but not as finicky as NETs from what I gather) glad i dont crave tobacco flavor.
Im used to holding the power button longer and this way im using a lot juice ( good) and holding button down shorter. Different. Easy enough to get used to. It delivers the goods effectively! Thats good. Reminds me of he "hard hitting" RBA world with a whole lot less hassle and i believe i am wasting less of the WTA stuff?..meaning more of it is getting in to me and a little faster

I drip 1.5 ohm 510's and 1.7 ohm 901's on my Silver Bullet and Omega. My batt's come off the charger right around 4.2 volts. This works out to between 10.5 to almost 12 watts. It gives a nice warm vape on the 510's until the voltage drops down a bit. The 901's always run cooler, partly because of the slightly higher resistance and partly due to the design.

Well looks like I spoke too soon about dipping being easy for me...

Last night I felt like some previous flavors were hanging around so I decided to blow out the atomizer. Blew it out through the threaded end. After that I added 3 more drops of liquid. Everything was fine for about three hits then I started getting this terrible burnt plastic taste. So I took the tip off and looked inside. I could see some dark build up to one side of the bridge. I try to remove it with a toothpick and some small burnt looking fibers start coming off. I looked and it up and read that some people remove these, so I did just that and removed the rest of them. I added three more drops of liquid and again three hits, burnt plastic taste. I then soaked it in vodka for a bit, blew it out and let it dry overnight. Tried it again this morning... Three good hits and then the burnt plastic taste again. Is this atty just shot? Did I possibly do something wrong when I blew it out?

A dry burn will clean off that baked on gunk...

But I'm surprised you have that much baked on gunk already.
How long have you been using this atomizer?

Barely a week and I don't constantly drip. Just in the evenings. I hadn't done any maintenance prior to blowing it out last night, that's why I wondered if I screwed something up blowing out old liquid. Thanks for the link... I have been a little leery of dry burning, but at this point I guess it wouldn't hurt to try.

In your opinion was removing those fibers (wicks i guess?) a bad move?

That's what I thought to only had one flood. I got drip happy. Just saving for a amp tank so I can drip everywhere. Or find a way to drip on the go.

The AMP is fantastic is every way but one: it's too delicate for out and about use -- for me anyway. I'd like to see Cisco come up with a protective cage kinda thing (a la the Fluid Flask) that would prevent it from coming apart or accidentally being adjusted open or closed. But there is a good away-from-home dripping solution. Bottom feeders -- especially the Vapage VMod -- are pretty travel-friendly, and you can use the 510 atty of your choice.
