Well, that's due to the pre-vet not giving TomCatt enough time. A valiant attempt by the catt, to be sure. Not his fault, so I tend to agree with the --. They could at least give us a few hours or something... they've had a year after all.
I haven't seen the incident in question yet... going to go look now (started reading here in the workshop). So... lemme go look...

Well, this goes back to "how much in advance?". Alpha was there at 10:10 and didn't turn until 10:25. Her pre-vet status was mentioned by at least two people (Catt and Tibbs) before turning. Catt opened a welcome thread.
This is why we can't summarize changes in a quick 3 line post to j0ker. Anyone know how the current rules read?
Anyway, we go according to the rules as published/amended. If it's a grey area, I'd say go with ++.

I was trying to get a fireworks on the thread and that slowed me down; should have just made the thread and then went back and filled it in. Oh, well, live and learn

I agree with -- for alpha.
alpha came to PVT prior to turning- the timing was due to short notice and being short handed. Tom was pretty heroic even so. no ++ because it wasn't scheduled in advance

I just heard back from MikeE3, he'll be on the thread around 7pm for his turning at 7:25pm on the 22nd (Wed).
