Does the 504 thing happend for you guys more on the PVT or is it any page?
I have noticed that it takes the server longer to serve up PVT pages. Big thread.
We could break it up every 3 to 6 months.......if there's a pattern. I think their database is not handling it well.

atty, this morning i'm scratching my head. remember the experiment i told you about? well, entering ecf as a guest a little while ago there was a substantial improvement

We could bust up the thread every 30K posts or so. But it's only worth doing if you're mostly getting this on the "big threads"... PVT, snails, whatever. If you're getting it on all the other pages too.......not sure it would matter.
