i agree, tweety - and as much as i love prevets i can't for the life of me understand why anyone would put up with something like this - after all the love and work we put in this thread. i'm sorry but my skin is not that thick

the cynic in me says that we won't really have to worry much about keeping the list updated.

I've decided to chillax until things cool off so I can think clearly. No decisions yet. Either way it won't be the same. But I keep focusing on the pre-vets, not my emotional reaction.

@ atty - as to other forums, yup, some of them are not nice and the language is not my cup of tea so i go rarely and when i do is just to say a fast hello to whiskey. but since dusty brought up that subject, let's look at it. our mods are members there for what purpose, do they post, participate? he says mods are hated so why go? to reconnoiter? then it shouldn't come as a surprise to be bad-mouthed, just like you might not appreciate what's being said when you're listening in behind closed doors.

the other reason I'm hanging on for now, is that part of me just really really doesn't want to be pushed out of something that has been a big part of my forum experience.
ces, we all have to handle it in our own way ............ and it won't change how i feel about our team. and if i need some research done as to hds i'll run atty down somehow and he better be prepared!

pvt is in need of late-night helpers and, until volunteers can be found, our turnings after 11 pm eastern will be rescheduled to guarantee some of us will be online to help our prevets celebrate.

you have done plenty, ces. it was always a team effort; that's why it was so hard to let go
Can we can "can be rescheduled " rather than "will be" . the former implies that we'll be responsible for rescheduling, and I'd prefer to have it be the turnee's responsibility. (as i said i don't want to work THAT hard )
how about 'need' which can be done by either party. saying 'can' leaves the possibility of not changing
it involves only 2 turnings in september and pms need to be sent. i'm sure some prevets never look once at the list
starry and fran will need to co-ordinate with their prevets somehow - hopefully, they are not night owls or over in ca ....
