Thanks all! Me a trust fund kid? Heeeeeel no. Been working my .... off since 16, 30 years ago. I'm paying for this s....y rehab out of my own pocket. :toast: The place I'm in HAS a lot of trust fund kids, who turned me on to vapes. So yeah I looked at the pricy stuff and even though I can afford it, to me a buck is still a buck and the VAMO had the simple features I wanted with quality build and value i felt unmatched in vapedom. Pretty easy choice for me. Plus I liken the VAMO to a 1911 in the gun world. Any halfway serious collector has at least one 1911 in the safe. :D

About 99% sure I'm pulling the trigger on a Vamo myself tonight, talked to someone in the classifieds about theirs and all the reviews make it look like a nice piece of kit. Welcome to vaping, and if the Vamo really is as good as people claim, you'll be a very happy customer!

Yeah, I read a metric pewp ton for days on all of them on many boards and review sites. Very little negative feedback. I realized an ongoing theme with almost all hardcore vapers in that almost every one of them had at least one VAMO in their arsenal and was still being used frequently. Many had it as their trusty backup in case their pricy rig soiled the bed. Reliable, performance, simple, tough and affordable, an easy must have in my book. Cheers!

If I may, I would like to point out that the VAMO is the CHINESE 1911 in the gun world! (Think Norinco). The Provari on the other hand is truly the 1911 of the vaping world!
Both will get the job done, Provari though, Made In America.

Ha. Well said sir! And you painted the perfect picture, way more accurate than mine. Nicely played! In fact, I'm inspired to create a new thread. Buddy of mine had a Norinco 1911 and I didn't even finish the mag. Thought it was going to auto field strip in my hand.

Haha the trust fund comment was very true in Newport Rehabs. I started as a drug and alcohol counselor years ago went back to school, and then I ran the medical department at Sober Living by the Sea and Morningside Recovery a few years ago. Been clean and sober since 6/18/89. Good luck on your recovery. Hopefully you get a good detox after that it is going to lots of meetings. The banana that gets away from the bunch gets peeled. When you have had all the fun you can stand and have run out of bright ideas then it will work for you.
You can always PM if you are having a bad day. Early in recovery our thinking is still messed up; a lot of pole vaulting over mouse turds. It will get better. Takes time. Good luck!

Won't and can't pass judgement. But I will welcome to the most fantastic support and help group you will ever find. Congrats and I truey do wish you the best in your new journey in life. Mine came late to me so I do know it can be done. And this is the place to come when you need help and support.

Cheers to any and all who can kick an addiction. Took my last alcoholic drink 22 years ago, after 25 years of binge drinking ...

But smoking had an apparently unshakeable grip, until I stumbled into vaping. The enormous improvement in my general health has given me hope that I just might match my Dad's 100 year life span ... ;)

Why oh why does someone always have to bring up a Provari when someone mentions a Vamo...that I will never understand! Moving forward though...Glad to have you here at ECF! My husband order him a Vamo and after just a couple days of seeing how well it done I had to order me one. We are both using ours now! I still use my Spinners as well though...just to keep from having to switch out tanks when I want a new flavor.

Anyhow..Glad you've found your way here and I wish you the best of luck!!
