When i started into the e-cigs i bought the usual papershop/garage lookalikes and found them wanting and very expensive, i graduated to ego's etc then decided to take the leap to a Vamo & carts now with tanks etc. So not knowing any different or seeing this thread/forum I spent way more than i would on my usual roll ups. i now know better. But i have kicked the habit only to aquire a new one, must say though - im loving it. I imagine that pretty soon i will go Provari or something very similar.

My advice to newbies is - do the research and save a whole lot of £'s or $'s and bypass the local shop bought lookalikes.

I want a vamo for my birthday too...

have you seen anywhere that sells the little ego clippy for lanyards? I wanted to make my own beaded lanyard or something
or sew one. or knit one.

I got one from canvape but I'm sure you can find them on a US site as well. There is a little kit (think its called Crystal but let me know if you want specifics & I'll go look) that has a keychain ego, lanyard and clip etc and their clip and lanyard is nicer than any of the others I have - sturdier thread attachment. I don't have anything fancy but I live with the ecigs on lanyards 'cause if I put them down I never remember where!

I wasn't calling her ugly and unattractive....used the word wrong, ur right. She's fine tho lol, in my contacts and pm's me so there's that.

I wrote my opinion and said it was my opinion repeatedly, there's no sales pitch lol - buy what I recommend or don't it makes no difference to me - I just suggested what I personally like is all and I made it a point to say that over and over, IMO is in that post maybe ten times. There's a whole bunch of straight information posts around here and I was just trying to give ppl direction by expressing my own take on everything and I recommended specific products because they're what I've used and liked personally is all. Take it or leave it.

you called me homely! **runs away crying** kidding.

Lol it's cool I think it was supposed to be a compliment xD

yea I knew it! I bought the wrong one.
It's stupid. I've tried it on like every single battery and it just holds the button down until the 5 sec protection goes off, it blinks 5 times, and then dies >.>

I'm just going to knit a lanyard.
or buy one of that creepy guy from the taryn spin video's vapor 4 life ones.
lol

kidding, those lanyards are ugly

only thing I would edit on your OP is

I would NEVER recommend anyone buy anything from Vaporbreak....take a look at their FB page.
Vision makes SOME good stuff I am a fan of the V Nova...but the clearomizers suk and are notorious for leaking and getting the insulators burnt very quick.

other than that, awesome post...wish i would have had that info when i started 2 years ago ...could have saved me a few hundred bucks at least.

I found that starting with 2 eGo Twist 1000mAh and some Vivi Novas (mini or normal) does the trick for beginners (also: don't forget some cones for the pretty). You have variable voltage and if you want to start rebuilding, you can learn on the vivis!
If you want to go on to genesis, the next step would be the inexpensive aga-s.
While you're learnin the ropes, buying expensive attys does not make sense and later on you can always use them to teach a friend...
cheers!

Hey mods is there any way this could get like some better placement maybe...I really think it could help a lot of ppl...it also took me like an hour and a half to type...I feel neglected :(

Lots of newbies like myself have read your post and found it to be extremely helpful.

Thanks for the info. Your time was not wasted.

*Bump* and ? - I like a warm, thick, (not airy) vape....still learning all the proper terms...
So as long as I stay with bottom coil varieties for the devices that go on top of the power source...LOL....atomizers, carto tanks, I'll get my warm vape - mixed with any of the "bottom" devices (power sources) you've recommended here.
