High on Vaping
I get ya with the pressure thing, nothing better than having a cig when you're stressed out I always found.
I'm nearly 3 weeks into vaping from a 30 a day smoker.
I am now feeling the pressure as I have no juice (apart from some I borrowed from a friend, but he is also low on juice) and live in a country where you can't buy it easily. I thought I'd covered by ... by ordering online 2 weeks ago from China, but it's been stuck in China for 2 weeks.

Even as I type this I really want to go and smoke a cig, but I won't.
I keep telling myself there's no way I will go 3 weeks then go and smoke, just keep cool.....

Welp, I went back to analogs. I had started vaping about 6 months ago and it was going well for the entire first month of that time. Then there were pressures from both work and personal life that I was trying to cope with. I fell back into old habits of the stinky sticks. Since then I kept wanting to stop, but never really wanting to at the same time. Even still, I was splitting my time half and half between cigs and vaping. I figured that if I was going to smoke, maybe I could smoke not as much, with the rationale of "at least that's one less cig that I'm smoking that time." Also, I stopped browsing these forums. Even though I had not posted much I still lurked daily during my vape only period. Now I'm going to try again, and this time hopefully I'll stick with it. I've since banished myself back to the New Members Forum to try and get myself back on track.

Anyway, here we go again!

It's great to see that you've opted to return and give it another go. I haven't relapsed from e-cigs yet but things like quitting analogs in general always entail some level of risk of relapse, we're only human so don't be too hard on yourself. The important part is that you're getting back up and trying again! Good luck!

Coming on ECF at least once a day, even for a short period, to check in and read some stories helps reinforce the quitting cigs mentality. I know, for myself, this forum is my support group. My husband is VERY supportive, but he has no clue what I am going through. He has never smoked or tried it, let alone vaping! LOL I love reading the stories of people that have gotten better with health issues that smoking caused them.

Hi, I'm Robin and I am a nicotine addict! I am happy to be a non-smoker :)

I'm new to vaping but have tried everything to quit the stinkys several times over the years. I've tried Chantix, Welbutrin, patches, Gum, lozengers, hypnosis and all kinds of combinations. I have had good success this time around vaping and using lozengers when I start freaking out for a cig. It's only been a few weeks but I can breath better than I have in years. Something about smoking 3 packs a day for almost 40 yrs was messing up my lungs. I'm just glad to be vaping and really enjoy it.
