Somewhere out there
I hope you can get back into the habit of vaping, if you stick with it you will one day forget you were a smoker and you will always grab a PV and vape instead. I just hit my 2 yrs mark of no smoking, only vaping and I have no desire to ever smoke again, they actually make me barf now! LOL Good luck and just stay with it, your lungs will love you for it. bnrk

Tomorrow is a new day!! You can start again--

I agree with others who have suggested to increase your nic level. After three months I though I could reduce from 24 to 18. No go--I began to think of cigs again--so I went back to 24 and don't even want one.

At the beginning of my decision to give vaping a try--someone said to me--"Tell yourself that if you want a cigarette you can have one". I went into it with that attitude and was really surprised that I didn't want one after about a week.

Start again if you feel bad about the relapse and don't be too hard on yourself if you slip.

szot was a tad harsh....although I DO understand the point he was making....
That said.....If you lay a guilt trip on yourself....you're likely doomed to failure!!
I'll just reiterate......up your nic level, grab your PV EVERY TIME you feel an analog urge coming on....
Try moving your analogs to a "remote" place - somewhere that makes you HAVE to GO TO GET THEM...this gives you time to - in law enforcement lingo - "reassess your potentially negative reaction...."!!:D
Bottom line.....YOU CAN DO THIS!! Just move forward....and keep the ECF Mantra at the forefront:
It's NOT how many cigarettes you've smoked....It's how many you HAVEN'T!
Best of Luck!
Happy (vaping) Trails!

Hey there, well I have seen alot of ppl that have trailed off back to the old habit of smoking analogs. In the end they do vape still. I always say go at your pace, dont force yourself to stop smoking analog. That will just create a situation that will make you want to smoke analogs. Took my .friends 4 months of doing 50% vape 50% analog before they went to vape only. Good luck and vape on

If it makes you feel any better I quit on accident! My original plan was to vape at home and in the car. I was still going to smoke at work. But I found myself vaping at work too after a week so I just quit buying cigs and that was over months ago. It will happen just don't put a lot of pressure on yourself.

You are right...I don't coddle adults..I shoot from the hip and tend to be direct...I tend to believe based on the question asked, and the excuses for the relapse given by the OP that he/she is a minor and not an adult...I truly wished nobody ever smoked or chewed tobacco, but that's not reality...and I belive we as adults are responsible for our actions and own decisions unless U have a gun to your head...and I believe anybody who has vaped for 7 months truly knows the answer to quitting tobacco and was just wanting to get their post count up or a minor and seeking attention...but no matter what I think , I support anybody who seeks an alternative to tobacco cigs/analogs, but was never one who was sympathetic to quitters who would not try again or would even ask what to do...an old phrase....You NEVER fail until you quit trying...

When I started vaping, I really didn't plan on quitting smoking because I didn't think I'd ever be able to quit smoking. So initially I planned on at least cutting back some with vaping but probably still smoke some. I think it was a good approach for me because I didn't get so stressed out over it all. I mean when we are a smoker and we tell our brain "that's it. You will never have a cig again," we mentally go into a panic mode thinking about it. At least that's how my mind worked with smoking. I had smoked for 30 years and its all I ever knew. It was there for me through every life event for so long. Luckily I took to vaping real well and by the second day I honestly didn't care about a cig. But there were some times where my brain would start up on me about wanting a cig and it took a long time to emotionally be done with them. Take vaping at your own pace and don't let it stress you out. Go slow if you need to.
