I Just started using a Protank with a 1.8 ohm coil, on a GO GO battery with a Go GO to 510 adapter, and a 20% PG mix on my juice, which I get From Vapor bomb, And have noticed a very dry metallic flavor. So I ordered some more coils , but with 2.5 Ohms, I was also thinking I should go ahead and get the Ego twist battery. Will the increased Resistance help with the dry flavor?.
I was also wondering should I clean the Protank before using. What do I clean this with?

I was getting a metal taste from my protank until I boiled it and then soaked it in alcohol. After that no more metal taste. This is a good thing to do with all metal parts that your juice touches. It gets the machine oils and other chemicals off and God knows who's been handling it before it gets to us.

The dry flavor could be the juice you are using or the wick isn't wicking fast enough.
