Relatively inexpensive kr808d1 mod?

I love cartos too much and my 901 batts aren't working for them even with the adapter. I only have 1 808 batt and so I am thinking maybe I should get a mod instead of dealing with more starter kit nonsense.

Any suggestions? I know I could likely afford $60-$65 in the next month if things go the way I hope.

I haven't seen a mod available with a 808 connector yet. You could always get a mod with a 510 connector and use 510 cartoz. IMO the 510 cartoz are as good or better than the premium 808's.

Even a $35 box mod is a ton better than stock batteries.

The mod I want most works for the 808, but it is EXPENSIVE. The GG super slim.

My soldering iron and solder are crap, last time I tried I failed miserably, hehe. I plan on trying again soon, when I gather some patience.

Just remember, you get what you pay for. Make sure you drop the extra cash and get a good iron (I went with the butane iron, portable and inexpensive )

I made a AA box mod just for my cartos... Used an 808/901 battery connector instead of my usual 510.

The Indulgence is a cheap way to do everything you want to do. It comes w/ 4 adapters. Covers you for pretty much any atomizer type.

Edit: Still putting my Indulgence through it's paces...PM me if you have questions about it. But you can get it for like $60 and it runs a 3.7v 900mAh batt.

I also make and offer box mods in PIF from time to time, sometimes with 510 and sometimes with 901 adapters. If you're definitely looking for something a little nicer though, I can second the Indulgence as being a fairly decent mod for the money.

Just make sure that if you get the Indulgence, you pick up some Noalox from Home Depot/Lowe's/Wherever to do the threading. Otherwise it will stick and squeak and you'll prolly wear them out. I just did mine earlier tonight, and it's made a world of difference.

At $2.75/tube (which will last you FOREVER), you can't miss!

I have a box mod from Cloudpure.com it needs no adaptor and works great with my 808 cartos.
