Reliable 510 Mini

Hi Folks. I have been reading a lot and posting little. Love this forum. Learned a great deal. I am a 35+ year 2 pad. I have not had an analog for 14 days 25 min 36 sec ... ;-)~ I fell pray to the "free trial" deal but to their credit, was not charged any more after I cancelled my auto subscription to their cartos. And.... it got me to put my cigs down and really try.

I purchased an ego c twist kit about a week ago. It came with 2 V2 vision cartos and I purchased a pack of Boge XL LR Cartos. I still use my mini at work but the bat needs to be recharged every hour or so (My heavy vaping is to blame Im sure) My problem is the vision cartos are not working all that well. (they did at first but now harsh and hot). Hard to draw and not much vape. My boges work very well on my mini bat but not very well on the twists. I would like to get a higher powered and reliable 510 mini for work and find a carto that works well with my twists. I don't seem to have the right combo yet. I don't mind a little tinkering but low hassle is my middle name.... ;-) At the moment, the nic level of the juice is more important to me than the taste. I need high level nic to keep off cigs. I just ordered some 26 and 36 ml juices I like from Mtnvapes. I am pretty much a chain vaper right now... Any help, suggestions, advice would be most welcome and appreciated.. Concradulations jimrug1,

Typically the smaller batteries have less battery life! I'm wondering how many MaH your EGO TWIST is? It may be a 650 MaH which may account for the limited battery life. I like the idea of buying a 100O MaH to provide better battery life! If this does not cut it, you may want to take the plunge and go with an 18650 battery mod like the Bolt, as that will be very helpful to get your through the entire day!

It may be that the v2 visions have just run their course. Even cartos start to taste stale to me before they actually stop working. Maybe look at a mini tank for your twist. Here is a link for that option.

For the mini ecig, I would suggest the KR808's above the mini 510's. You can still use 510 cartos with them if you like. Just use an adaptor. A good place to check for 808's is Smokeless Image, (they call it the Volt). They also have PCC's which could be useful in the work environment, to always have a charged battery.

In what way don't your Boges work well on your Twists? What is a Vision V2? Is that a Vision Stardust?

Oh and another good place for 36mg juice is VaporGod. I am also a 36mg vaper, and LOVE their juices!

Hi Dragonbone, thank you for your reply and your suggestions. I will check out Smokeless Image and see what they have to offer. Yes, the V2 ego vision is (I believe) the stardust. I think, I bought boges that were too LR for the ego. Even at the lowest setting (3.2 v) it is too hot for the boges that I bought. I just ordered some boge 2.5 - 2.9 SR. I am hoping that they will work better on my twist batteries. For work, I feel more comfortable with a more low profile looking set up. Even if the bat wont last as long. As long as I have two, I can always have one that is charged. Thanks again and I will check out VaporGod for some 36mg juice.. ;-)~

As for a good mini, I always like the Joye 510 but keep in mind that anything that resembles a cigarette has terrible life. They make an XL 510 which is longer, more like a 100 cig, that is 280mah.

The Vision you have needs a little modding. Take a pair of tweezers and remove the silicone piece that slides over the top of the wick. Take a pair or pointy scissors and clip the wick openings a little bigger and replace. The performance will improve.

Try the Kanger T-2 it may work better for you then the Stardust does,,,, and an Atty will also work super on those Twist, get yourself a nice HH-357 Atty with a nice drip tip, I use this set up on my Ego Twist and it works super.
