Reliable place to buy kanthal and SS mesh?

Probably 400 ss mesh. I use 325 because I only vape non pg due to allergies to pg.

Everything I've read up to this point suggests 325 as being best for vg. Now I'm gonna have to find some 500 ss mesh to try out.

For a better ss mesh option they have a DID Clone rbta for a good price. I paid $15 more for the one I got somewhere else and I had to mod it a little because the air hole didn't line up with the wick. Now I'm stalking the mail lady for the pyrex tube I ordered for the tank section, lol.

Tell us what you did to modify the DID clone in case my air hole doesn't match up when I get it!

Mine was off by about 3/4 of a turn. At first I was just turning the cover back 3/4 of a turn but didn't like how loose it felt. Then I marked and drilled a 1/16 inch hole (smallest bit I had) directly in front of the wick. For now I just have a round paper punched piece of clear packing tape covering the original hole. When I get around to it I'll pick up some silver solder (lead free) and try melting it into the hole. I've never tried soldering chrome before so hopefully it adheres to the chrome or the metal under the chrome. If not, I'll figure something out.
I also like the slightly looser draw I'm getting with a 1/16 inch hole.

I just ordered my first batch of kanthal wire off of ebay. $9.99 for 100 ft, which I thought was a pretty good deal. The vendor also has a website that sells the wire for the same price. I was impressed because I placed the order Sunday night and got a notification from ebay an hour later. It arrived on Tuesday. Seems pretty quick to me.
