Hello All,

I just wanted to share a remedy for you all that may feel like after 2 or 3 fillups of Boba's or GJ that your attie tastes like an ashtray. Run your juice through a non bleached paper coffee filter. I did this under the assumption that BB and GJ was using NETs and that there were too many leftover particulates in the juice.

Hope this helps!

Hmmmm.. interesting...
How long have you been doing this?
Can you post a picture of what you collected in the filter, please.

Thanks

Hello All,

Sorry I've been away from the forums for a bit of time.

I've always had Boba's gunking up my coil faster than most other clear juices but I got a very distinct ashtray flavor from some of the more recent batches (July/August) after only 1/2 day of vaping. I've never seen confirmation from AVE that they use NETs in their juice but I experienced the exact same effect as you would vaping NETs as they quickly impart an ashtray flavor into your attie due to a small amount of particulates being left in the extraction process. I suspect that a batch of the NETs they use may have had a higher concentration of the said particulates which was causing the unwanted flavors. The filtering process I described seemed to remedy the issue if not filter out even more than what was intended (which in my opinion is a good thing).

I do not currently have any Boba's to filter and I have no pics but I will make sure to take some pics during the next filtering I do.
