I'm posting this here because these are not new mods, but are just a couple of pipes that I have redone...

Number one.... is a small carto pipe that I have just made a cone to fit over a mini vivi nova, or a small (3.5mil) carto tank...Also, I have put a small (3/4") concho (tandy leather factory) on top of the V-2 epipe mods switch.

The concho is put on with double stick tape....I don't know if I will use this or not....

Here is one more picture....The difference in the color of the pipe...is the lighting......

Number two.....is one of my first pipes....I desided to redo it to use a V-2 switch....I took all the wireing out...pluged the battery hole, and redrilled it...after that things got a little out of hand......

By doing this I lost about a 1/2" off the top,and about a 1/4" off the dia.....As for the paint job....I came across a picture of a pipe made by the Tsuge pipe company of Japan....It was a black lacquer with a flower design....I didn't use lacquer, and the design is my own. Instead I used Acryic's with multiple coats of varnish...I also painted the pipe stand that goes with this pipe....I don't know if this will stand up...Only time will tell.... Here are a couple more pictures...

In closing... I really like making my own mods....when you do that....you can change anything you want to, when ever you want....And if you don't like it you can do it allover again....

duckie.......Now I can get to that maple burl, that I have been looking at too long.....

Quite nice. I like the basic form coupled with your insane attention to detail.

Tandy has a lot of cool things, thanks for the tip.

Thank you Sir....Your too kind....Tandy does indeed have a lot of cool stuff, and they have a outlet store right down the road from me.....which is even cooler....no waiting for the mail..www.tandy leather factory.com........

As for attention to detail....I also pay close attention to how I shoot my pictures...to hide the mistakes I maded...

In closing... let me also thank you....for your tips on useing resettable fuses....all the pipe mods I make have one (Mouser #2920L300DR)..really small, but easy to solder(even for me),and cheap.....about 50 cents per....

duckie.....
