Great video, Jibba73. That video was the deciding factor with my decision to give this e-pipe a try.

Ok, so I have a shorty 510 adapter on the way. I'll post the results after I try it out with a Boge.

As has been suggested in previous posts, make sure you attach the extender to the carto and don't crank it down. If it gets stuck inside... that's no bueno!

so glad I revived the thread. These look great. Anyone tried ce2s in these? Just curious to see if a ce2 shell would fit. It may be a great option as a shell can be easily made to the right size even though care may have to be taken to keep the pipe propped upright when not in use.

Yep, just as I suspected, the shorty 510-510 (5mm) adapters work just fine. Don't even have to use a rubber or plastic plug at the end, but it's advised. Have to push a bit harder to engage the mouthpiece, but not much. Awesome. The ability to use a regular Boge sized cartomizer is a game changer for me. Nice plumes. Sweet.

This pipe has to be the DSE 601-C, right?

Same as 601, but with 510 carto-conn instead of propr.atty?

Slightly different...but basically the same. It has a twist lock mouthpiece instead of a threaded ring. I haven't had a chance to try the twist lock types but it may be a better setup IMO.

According to the 601-C videos out there, the C is also twist lock - 90' turn to attach or detach. The only thing I've spotted that might be different is that the AZ possibly have dimming/fading LED following your draw, while the C only has on/off led?
