Here and back
Menaice - I saw the video that Phee303 did on YouTube for removing the threads. I did that - perfect. Then I saw the video where he removed the threads and the bridge itself, WOW. That atty lasted a couple of months and tasted great. It did finally burn out (I miss it) and I've tried the same thing with a few but never with the same great results.

I still think removing the threads is a good thing.

I've never done it. Those threads help the atty wick juice and from what I understand you only want to do that if you're dripping. The fibers are made of some heat resistant material and don't melt or burn to your atty. If it looks that way it's probably old juice gunk that is stuck to the coil and the fibers. I've never seen the value in messin' with my attys much. I'd have to be buying one every day to even come close to what I was spending on smokes.

Yea i got that from Phee aswell, and it works great, i just noticed with 1 that i didn't do it to... the fibers cleary were burned on the coil, and i never put any dark e juice in that atty. I was just seeing if others pretty much do this to all of there attys like a ritual or something.... I only direct drip myself. I don't think you would like to remove the threads if you use carts because of course it wouldn't wick as good
