I removed the bridge and mesh on my 510 atty, now my juice is gurgling live hot streamers of vapor
and sometimes it gets on my hands and it seems actually a little dangerous.. I might use an empty carto as my drip tip as it provides some kind of protection against this. Any ideas? Has this happened to anyone?

I've never removed a bridge on a 510, but I am on a bridge-less 306 right now. They do gurgle more, but I never get juice in my mouth. And a drip tip on a 510 is farther away from the coil than a 306.

I can only do 2 drips at a time once I pull a bridge out, how many drips are you putting in that bad boy??

When i say juice shooting out, i dont mean "leaking out" or "onto my lips" i mean, hot-spewing juice violently ejecting out of the silver bullet at high speed sending streakers of e-juice a foot across leaving behind a smoke vapor trail..

Im putting in around 3-4 drops right into the white compartment on the coil

Nope, never. You are using a drip tip of some sort, right?? Your comment about using an empty carto has me worried. I hope you aren't taking drags straight off the atty.

i have a silver bullet w/ 510 atty debridged w/ loose but working delrin drip tip. basically im vaping right off the atty in my mind because the drip tip is only providing about an inch or so worth of "travel". i thought the point of bridgeless dripping is to vape on the atty basically? what is wrong with vaping without a drip tip but right on the atty?

You still need the drip tip to protect yourself from the heat of the coils. Now that you've removed the bridge (and I'm assuming the wick as well) you have the atty coils exposed. That is like sticking your mouth above the slot of a toaster and taking a drag while it is on. Bad idea, right? The drip tip, especially the derlin ones, protects you from the heat and lets you drip right on to the exposed coil. You do not want to suck right off the atty without a DT in between.

I currently have 4 bridgless atties, none of which spew off hot magma like a volcano like you are describing.

1. for a standard atty, do no more than 2 - 3 drips MAX.
2. for a LR atty, do no more than 4 - 5 (starting drips after cleaned) and a max of 3 drips thereafter.
3. I would suggest to NOT vape right off a debridged atty or ur going to jack ur lips, tongue, etc.. up. if you can see the liquid "bubbling" on the coils that means you have put ENTIRELY too much in. :)

*note* if you are running a debridged 510 Low Resistance (LR) atty you shouldn't have ANY gurgling anymore, if you do this is a sign of over-fill

hope i helped!
