I'm surprised people still refill. I thought we'd all jumped on the drip wagon. *shrug*

IMO, refilling carts is as outdated an e-smoking problem as using carts. Yeah, they're still around and sometimes a necessity, but I for one am looking for something better.......

Minus Sign,
Can you tell me what brands of ecigs you use, how long they have lasted and how long you have been dripping?

I ask cause I'm new at this, have bought eliquids but don't dare start dripping because my units have not been lasting that long and I don't want to completely kill them off. I'd like to see a unit last at least a month before I attempt dripping. One unit lasted 3 wks, replacement 3 days. Another unit died within the first 24 hrs. The first was a njoy, the second a Kissbox.

Thanks

dripping shouldnt kill them off quicker.. not unless the fluid leaks into the battery or switch.. smoking them too dry trying to get the last dregs out of a cart might well do..

minis dont drip well either.. they aint big enough.. the weak spot would be/is the pressure switch contacts any liquid in there and it will not work.. liquid wont bother the battery too much but greasy liquid on low voltage electrical contacts isnt good..

it depends on the device and how its designed.. the meltrex type 901 generics are pretty good in this respect.. the switch seems to be sealed well and so does the battery.. unlike some devices they draw air thru a little hole in the side of the atomizer.. the bad ones draw air thru the entire battery.. if air comes one way the liquid can go the other way..

a small amount of liquid can come out of the hole in the side of the atomizer if things get too wet but its better coming out there than going other places..

I've taken all my posts out and changed the title to removed ... nice and inocuous, that should please you all !
In my opinion, that is one of the lowest things you can do on a forum, right beside trolling :|

No, its even worse than trolling.
It leaves everyone that sees the thread after the deletion extremely curious about what the hell was said there, I hate that feeling :p

So chastized, I will shut up and comment no further on health concerns. Smoke 'em if you got 'em.

NO WAY!!!

Heck, I just found out why my toes curl up sometimes. In ten years of seeing various doctors, not one of them has ever had a clue as to what might cause the problem. It wasn't until I read your post about lactic acid that I ever heard anything that made any sense.

You have more knowledge on more subjects than just about anyone I know. And your writing is more fun too!

Say it ain't so, Bob. :(

the solution would be to only allow editing of posts for a certain time limit. i must mention this in smokey's forum re-design thread. its easily implemented on phpbb forums.

Thanks, Windblown. What I'm going to do is try to confine health comments to Health and Medicine, where they really belong. I eagerly await every post from Dr. Loi, for instance, who is pioneering tests of e-smoking. My goodness, every intelligent e-smoker wants to know if there are any short-term or long-term consequences of what we do. I'm an optimist who continues e-smoking, knowing that it's much healthier than the tobacco alternative. But I also want to know if the e-light turns yellow or red. I won't stop posting .. I'll just try to make sure comments are in an appropriate thread.
