Has anyone been successful in removing some stronger flavors from their atomizer?

I'm asking because my first atomizer, which was unbridged and dedicated to my Kretek, just died while I was dry burning it :( The only one I have left is for Geoff's Blend but I'd like to be able to use Kretek on it as well.

Clove, cinnamon and a couple of other flavors are next to impossible to get rid of. There are lots of threads dedicated to cleaning attys but my advice is...

1. Remove the bridge and the wick (assuming you are dripping, if you are using carts, don't do this)
2. Rinse thoroughly in hot water
3. Rinse thoroughly in vodka or Everclear (if you can get it)
4. Rinse thoroughly in hot water
5. Blow-out
6. Let dry for 24 hours
7. Dry burn

I know it seems like a lot but if your atty is still going strong and you just need to get it clean, this is the best method. Check out the atomizer support threads for more info.

I've heard about people puffing on straight VG after their clean their attys to get them moist. I was actually going to add a bottle of VG to my last order but decided not to. I'll have to do that next time.

I'm actually in luck though, a friend of a friend's mother actually runs her own eCig shop out of her house locally. She has a ton of black 510 attys, so I might as well just grab a couple.

By the way, a little side question so I don't need to start a new thread - has anyone tried adding sweetener to Geoff's Blend? I'm really liking it, I'm just curious what its like with the sweetener. I'm scared to try new things if it involves wasting something :p
