Reo #4 But Not One More....

A buddy came over last week to get some juice from me. He has a Provari & to my surprise his son had a K101 with a Trident. He's seen my Mini before & wanted to see the Reo again. I brought out my three Reos & let him try the Grand. On the second hit I told him to take a bigger hit & he choked on it. Then he said he wanted it, not one, it, he literally busted out cash & said how much! Nope sorry brotha none of mine are for sale!

So I got one for him, a Grand topped off with a RM2. That should make him happy. A Reo convert without even trying to convert him! I'm not sure what his style of vape is but since he choked on mine @ 1Ω I built him a 1.25Ω micro until I figure out what he likes. No cotton for him, he'll probably singe that before he even gets home.

What kind of wick is that? That is absolutely awesome setup, and mastery of the RBA. The more I look into the RBA's the more I want one.

I, too would like the details on the wick, as well as coil wire gauge.

I'd be tempted to make the wick a bit longer and coil the ends into the center of the ceramic bowl. Just to see it.

Yes it is Ekowool, 1mm. 27 awg Kanthal A1.

I have since changed the placement of the wick ends to between the posts & wick much better. Still going to play with wick placement. His AWs won't get here until Tues or Wed so I get to play with it some more until then.

Just wanna say thanks to you guys posting up this information on the RBA's. My wife is going to punch me when she looks at the bank statement and there is another purchase on Vape gear. lol. I'm taking note of this thread for future updates on your wick placement. Yours and Super_x_drifters coils are just outstanding.

I say go for it! I don't use RM2s myself but I have always recommended them too just from having those type of atties in hand. But now that I have actually built & used one for myself, I can highly recommend them even more now.

I unbraid it, thread all the strands through the coil, then rebraid it.

I'm need to make another coil but I have to go machine something for about an hour. I'll post pics & explain later.
