Its official. Ya'll have worn me down and I'm going to take the plunge and get a Reo Grand. My question is what atomizer do you Reo nuts like? I'm looking for a rebuildable with with dual coil capabilities. I figured I would post this thread here instead of the other ECF sub forums since it seems like the NT family really knows their Reos.

Make sure and get a low profile (LP) Reo and anything will work. I've had the igo W recommended to me for dual coils but I have only really used single for my BF devices...

And Rob is releasing a lot of new BF attys too...

What's your budget on the atty? Also like Meg said make sure you get an LP version since that really opens up your atty options.

I'm glad you and Megan said that because I originally was looking at the standard form factor ones. As for the atty budget, the sky is the limit. Price is of no concern.

Okay cool. As far as attys if you can find a bottom fed Cyclone with the AFC cap (~$95 as a combo) that would be my first recommendation. By far the best atty combo for the Reo Grand. Main issue is you will probably have a hard time finding both paired together. Second bet would be the Igo-W Rob sells or the RM4 (Atomic clone). Both have drawbacks in my opinion:

The W has triple posts for duels but fixed air flow (which may or may not matter to you). You can buy after markets caps with AFC but they run $20-40 bucks depending on finish. So you end up around $90 bucks again.

The RM4/Atomic clone has triple posts and AFC however there have been some reports of people shorting the atty out because the post screws loosen up and the negative/positive end up touching each other. Shorting the atty is more of a pain than any danger since the hot spring in the Reo will collapse but that is one of the issues that has come up.

Edit: The Reo hot spring is replaceable but it's not something you can get at any hardware store, only Rob sells them as far as I know.

You can't get the springs at any hardware store. But there is a temporary or other solution that's available at any Walmart.
Just buy a Auto Fuse, bend one leg down and one leg up.
Many suggest the 15 amp one.

Me I carried it a step further and I took a pure copper wire and circled the center, lowered my resistance by .05V of course I have no protection against shorts. But I like to live on the edge.

Another suggestion in a pinch. Go to any Home Depot buy pure copper wire. Then twist it with pliers into a spring. For some reason the fuse with wire down the center gave me lower resistance.

I'm vaping on a Regular Reo Grande Sl.
Using a Reomizer 2 with Dual Vaping Donuts at .3 Ohms.
Drilled larger holes on each side for better aeration.

Totally satisfied. No need to look for more

Really good advice here. Sorry Mikeo, completely didn't see that thread. Long day at work and a little tired. Also, I'm an ego maniac and impulsive. With the suggestions in this thread and Mike's, I've got some decisions to make.

If money is not a concern buy them all?

They took it easy on you Dave. I'm sure it's because you're getting a Reo. Now you're going to be one of "them".

Everything suggested for me was a 100 dollar device. Just kidding, I did get a list of some good ones. Trying to get to a local shop to see what they have. Been trying for 2 days now. I don't know how I had time to work 8 hours a day before I retired.

Let us know how you like that Reo once you get it up and running...

I was dreading hitting the refresh button once I realized what I had done. I already know I want this guy. Going to mull over the atomizers for a day or so.
