Reo DNA?

So I have a Reo Grand with a custom dual airhole rm2 (for dual coils) I ordered from Reo Mods. Love it, in fact I love it so much I am thinking of a reo mini. However I also love my DNA30 mod and I thought I wonder if they have plans on a Reo dna mod. And as my luck usally goes I will buy the Reo Mini and a Reo dna mod will come out next week. So anyone have a heads up know if one is in the works and about to come out?

Last I heard on it was a reo with the option for a kick. No dna version.

I don't think Rob will make a DNA. I have heard he will make a Reo that will hold a Kick and have an adapter if the Kick goes bad that you can use till the Kick gets replaced. I don't think Rob wants to leave his mods in the hands of others via the chip used. That takes things of of his control.

Yeap, Rob has stated he does not want the headaches of managing service and warranty issue for electronics he does not create. He wants to focus on his area by building great Reos. He is planning a Mechanical Wood mod and a mod designed to hold a Kick that will also have a spacer to allow full mechanical operation.

There are users on here who have added DNA to both a Grand and a Woodvil

I think a kick insert is a better Idea the DNA 30 chip would take away from the simplicity and mite compromise the Reo's Rock Solid reliability

I would be very interested in an LP 18650 with the Kick. LP for flexibility, the 18650 for battery capacity and Kick variable watts works for me.

I say don't mess with the simplicity of the standard metal or wood REO.

I love that my metals can be washed by running water!

Kinda tired of fussing with the electronics. All I have left are three VV Woodvils. I won't sell them because they were purchased for special reasons and they are very special woods!

If one day Robert can make them standard I am all in!
