^^^ i doubt it - but then i have not seen the shape of the new firing pin. I do know the spring will be gold plated and the firing pin Beryllium copper (which means it will not spark).

You can run them now, but you run the risk of bending your firing pin such that it's unusable and has to be replaced.

It's not something i can recommend in good conscience, since a 30A battery is irrelevant when currently a 0.5Ω coil will only pull 8.4A. And as things stand that is pushing it on a stock Reo.

I am completely innocent :D……I blame Rob for creating them and my wife helping during the sale.

I remember when you got your first! I'm just up to six at the moment. But already thinking about number seven.

Edit - you need to change your signature too, to update to the ten!

It really is amazing how nice the REO's are for me.

As I was headed to town today for some Howards Wood Polish. I realized that it had been a few weeks since my last flood or gurgle. When the RM2's arrived I just built a coil…wicked and set off on my way and only had to refill the bottles and change batteries. Molly was even with me yesterday at the park when my granddaughter broke her arm…:(

I wanted to simplify my vape life and REO's have made it possible. If only I could stop buying them….

When do the mechanical woods go on sale…:D

Good catch! Updated the description. These are indeed genuine AW batteries (directly from Andrew Wan) - These are the new ones with the holographic stickers.

Cheers!

Hmm, those are out of stock. PM Papa_Lazarou. He's in Canada and just ordered some AW's from a Canadian vendor, I believe. He'll likely and gladly share the link. I did find these guys in Canada, however, I in no way can vouch for the reputation or authenticity, but it's a start:
DashVapes - BATTERIES & CHARGERS - AW 18650 IMR 1600 MAH HIGH-DRAIN BATTERY

ETA: It looks like (by my eye) that these are authentic. There is a misprint in the specs, however. DashVapes is listing 10A as max. cont. discharge. That's wrong. It is certainly 15C (24A) for the 1600mah 18650.

Fabulous! I'm in the US, so I do not keep current with Canadian vendors. However for everyone on ECF: this is why I ALWAYS recommend ECF registered suppliers. They are reputable, care about their customers, listen to us, and stand behind their products! What's peace of mind worth? Definitely more than a couple dollars more for a vendor that sells a battery we KNOW is authentic and will perform as stated.

How amazing! You get an "Is your device as good as XXX" thread and it doesn't turn into a bloodbath.

ETA: Sorry. It appears my comment was misconstrued. I meant it to be light hearted, but I guess not. Now that I look at it, no matter how I worded it (It's cool; You guys are lucky; whatever) it wouldn't come out as I intended. I wasn't asking why, I know why. I apologize for the misunderstanding.

Could be because you don't find us in every thread saying "Just get a XXX" no matter what the question is. Don't you get that no one hates the Provari or any other PV. it's the attitude from some of "those people".

Definitely not saying you, I know better. But you know there are those barging into threads with that crap. People get tired of it.

Pardon me while I barge into your thread.

Please don't take this to mean I'm being defensive, I'm not. I know you don't have the time or care to look, but the next time someone posts that ProVari owners barge into threads telling people what to buy, I would like a link to the post(s) they are referring to. "Just get a ProVari" being posted everywhere is a myth. There are far more posts telling people to get other devices or start rebuilding coils when those suggestions aren't appropriate either.

I admit we have some easily provoked owners, but what does one expect when a potential owner asks a genuine question about the ProVari and gets snide replies from people who don't own one, don't plan to own one, think it cost too much and ends the post with The ProVari Fan Boys will be here any minute?

When was the last time a thread was started just to trash the Reo?

This thread was started in General Discussion:

What can provari produce that the ego cannot?
"besides taking a few coins out of your pocket? I think the provari is just a status symbol...like tennis bracelets..."

When was the last time you had someone post in the Reo Lounge all of the reasons they would never own a Reo?

The thread in our sub-forum was How many ProVaris should you have? (I'll bet you have a similar thread somewhere in this forum) out of the blue this was posted:

"I've found 0 to be my perfect number,I'm not fond of scrolling, lack of power or overpriced battery holders."

Do you get posts like that when you are minding your own business and having fun with your friends?

Sent by an Ocelot sitting on a soapbox, vaping a Reo Grand and waiting for her Woodvils to arrive. Oh wait! Isn't the Woodvil a status symbol? What can a Woodvil do that a Bogger Box can't (besides exist)?

A Benz with a 5 or higher on the trunk lid is a status symbol a Provari or a Reo is just a good choice :)

Reos and ProVaris complement each other very nicely!

I'm not going to dig up posts. I can tell you that one of the first pvs I got was a Vmax. I spent about a year in the Vmax threads. There were Provari owners constantly coming into those threads telling what junk the Vmaxes were and that we should quit messing with the Chinese junk and just get Provaris. I'm sure the threads are still there if you care to look through them. I don't have to I suffered through the constant BS Provari posts in that thread and have no desire to relive it. I have also seen the threads where people say they want to spend $50 to $75 dollars and others would still answer just spend the money and get a Provari. I just have never seen Reo people doing those kinds of things.

Did it leave a bad taste in my mouth? Absolutely.

You definitely do seem defensive. I didn't post to start an argument. All I did was give you an answer as to why it doesn't happen here. If that offends you then I'm sorry. That was not my intention. I was merely trying to explain why it doesn't happen here.
